District 6 — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Context: (Dinner time 6-ish During the Pandemic in February 2021)

My review why I give you guys 4-Stars :)

After receiving, an ad on instagram about this place, I was amazed that there was this 55K++ offer for all you can eat pasta and pizza. So I came here humbly with a warm welcome of the staff who asked me where would I like to sit and I so I sat down. I am happy that they informed me about the rules prior to me ordering the promo because it makes me better informed. For a drink I drank the ABC health juice which had apple, beetroot, carrot celery (eh I forgot but it was good), really refreshing. For my “appetiser” I had the Rigatoni Bolognese which was nice and perfectly cooked (humble and good— I don’t want to be rude but I wish there was more cheese haha but that is okay). Next I waited for a bit and got their District 6 Pizza— the toppings were unique along with this green sauce (I forgot what was in it but it was good). After that I had this really good penne spinach mushroom pasta which was great! Saucing was lovely but I wished they cooked the spinach lil longer but all was GOOD!

However the reason why I give District 6 one star less from 5 star is because of the signature pizza :( The dough itself was chewy and dough, uneven — I wish you guys could read my review and understand that the pizza was cooked unevenly with the dough but the rest was superb. Maybe it was the fact that it was the promo for this pasta pizza dinner that made you guys busy I understand, it’s hard these days. Well I hope you guys read my review and I hope to come again!

I want to share my observations with you guys as well during my experience:

I really appreciate that the staff was calm in dealing with one of the customers complaining about their burger/steak/ or patty whatever it is and had it dealt with ease. I think I saw the manager or the owner came by and talked to the guest which was great! I respect her for being upfront and being a good host to her guests to hear what they have to say.

I appreciate that the Staff of district 6 are complacent, calm, reasonable, and humble to guests.

Music was a good volume

🇷🇺 🇺🇸 0 percent taxes + 0 percent service charge !!! This is a wonderful place to meet with friends. The staff are lovely and behave themselves as your friend, very attentive to you. They have good promotions - In the evening you can eat any dish from the menu for 50.000 IDR . While food is preparing you can play billiards. (Frankly, for some reason the balls fly out there)The design is very beautiful and fashionable. I put 4 stars because one day we came to this place and ordered two pizzas. Both of them were burnt + tasteless: no cheese, not juicy. In general, despite the fact that the pizzas were meat, they were the driest and most tasteless pizzas I tried in Bali. We asked for olive oil to make the pizza a little better, they brought us pedas (spicy) oil, but the pizza didn't get any better. If you want to eat pizza - go to Tratoria or La Baraca. Nevertheless - the burger, pasta, tuna steak and drinks we really liked. Thank you guys! Do something with the pizza or take it off the menu.

Дизайн очень красивый и модный. Я ставлю 4 потому что однажды мы заказали пиццу..две пиццы... Обе из них были подгорелые + безвкусные: без сыра, не сочные. В общем, несмотря на то, что пиццы были мясные - это были самые сухие и безвкусные пиццы на острове. Мы попросили оливковое масло, чтобы пицца хоть чуть-чуть стала лучше, нам принесли острое масло, но пицца лучше не стала. Если вы хотите покушать пиццу - идите в Траторию или Ла Барака. Тем не менее - бургер, паста, стейк с тунца и напитки нам очень...

We were a group of six who arrived ten minutes before the last order and asked if it was alright to dine, to which they agreed. We ordered a variety of dishes, including two Tuscan tuna steaks cooked medium. However, one was served well-done and the other medium-rare. We returned the overcooked tuna due to its dryness and incorrect preparation. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the head chef came out with an extremely aggressive attitude, insisting the tuna was still fresh and not even knowing which doneness we ordered. Despite clearly requesting medium, he accused us of ordering medium-rare and well-done. Then, he made a passive-aggressive remark about our group arriving last minute. The Chief Chef’s behavior completely ruined our fun evening, despite our calm demeanor in handling the situation. We were deeply offended by the chef's attitude, and we actually felt bad for the staffs who were apologizing on behalf of...
