We were at Yuki Uluwatu after spent some wonderful weekend on the neighborhood, especially after Haloween We came as walk in so no reservation, we didn't book at all since we also just back from sunset Kecak dance performance As somebody who loved to enjoy the good food, amazing service as fantastic vibes especially one of the establishment from the magnificent three, Pulau Project guys, Rai, Dewa and Windu, they are incredible !!! No doubt I was so happy both Yuki and Osteria Luna were just next to each other, so for lunch I went to Luna for some oysters as well 100k pasta đ Anw, we went to Yuki for dinner around 7pm and maybe cause we looked so casual also I didn't really know if they have dresscode or not, surprisingly we didn't have a good experience with the hostesses or customer service staffs at the front desk, that time they only have space at the back for walk-ins and everything was fully booked at the front side of the restaurant, only after I asked how long was the wait for the nicer/ better table they then answered 9pm At least 2 hostesses was quite rude and if I'm not mistaken their name are Gek Ina and Ayu We were starving so we decided to stay at the back then Sinta took care of us so well, presented us the menu, we chose the chef's reccomendations, we kind of asked to still have a good table to Sinta, guess she asked the front desk, suddenly they let us choose some nice table at the front, maybe the receptions change their mind since finally we will spend something After we moved, another server called Sintya, she's great, so attentive and knowledgeable The food is great, the sake and the natural wines as well, awesome!!! If I can give some feed back, if the management can consider to review the welcoming staffs, especially not to be rude since they will be the first person customers sees when they arrive at the venue, the face of the place Overall the whole experience was ok, too bad it ruined from the start Thanks for letting me express this...
Read moreWe had the most beautiful evening at Yuki. The fit out is stunning, dark and moody with marigolds on the tables, gorgeous lamps, and pottery everywhere. It set the perfect tone for what turned out to be a truly memorable night. The food was outstanding. The watermelon taco was an absolute highlight, crunchy and balanced with a flavour and texture that almost mimicked salmon, hard to believe it came from the vegan menu. The beef skewers were right up there as one of our favourites too, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The popcorn chicken was probably the best I have had in Bali, juicy chicken in a crisp batter with fried onions and a delicious sauce. The wagyu beef sando with truffle aioli, cooked medium rare, was rich, indulgent, and melt in your mouth good, I could have easily eaten ten. The torched salmon maki was another winner. The only dish that didnât quite land for us was the chicken thigh yakitori, which was a little overcooked, but it was a minor dip in an otherwise incredible meal. Even the edamame was a lovely accompaniment to start things off. The drinks were also excellent. The raspberry mule in particular was an absolute standout for me, fresh, balanced, and beautifully made. What really made the night though was the hospitality. Deva, was our host and he was exceptional. From his warm nature to his thoughtful recommendations, he made us feel so welcome. He even let us linger at our table longer than expected, which added to the relaxed and generous vibe of the whole experience. All up, Yuki is a must visit. Beautiful design, incredible food, excellent drinks, and some of the best service we have experienced in Bali. We left feeling grateful and cannot...
Read moreThis place was a disappointment from beginning to end. Another high class place not worth the money.
Ordered two starters and three mains. One main was the grilled chicken and they said it will take 25 mins and that was fine. What came was one starter with one main. Well my partner finished his main and I ate the starter and 30 mins later his chicken came and I was still waiting for my yuzu soda asking them twice. So my partner finished half of the chicken and my main, sushi, came together with my soda. I donât know where the problem can be if you canât make it work that two people eat their meals together. My tuna truffle sushi was the biggest joke of sushi that Iâve ever seen. As thin and small as my finger. For that price? Do it like a normal size. No pickled ginger and wasabi added I had to order that extra. My soda was completely water only filled with ice by the way so not worth the wait either.
And the restaurant it self is super tasteless. So I made a reservation to sit on a table with 6 other people, table as high as a childâs table and the chairs - perfectly selected to make you fall off of them. Great design choice. The furniture is horrible. Classic beer benches. Again great choice for a want to be high class sushi restaurant. All in one. No love and no taste. Thatâs what I...
