Yeye's Warung & Gift Shop — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Yeye's, oh how I will be dreaming about you until we meet again. I am the most gushing of enthusiasts for variety, for it is the spice of life, and I like a spread of a little bit of everything at meal times. Yeye's delivers that. Start at one end of the counter and move across your options, where the person serving will scoop whatever you point at in the cabinet onto your plate. They will total up your plate and hand you the amount you owe on a laminated piece of paper, where you pay at the end of your meal.

As a vegan at a non-vegan establishment, I am thrilled that there is SO much to choose from, vegan and non-vegan options alike. And you know how places with extensive menus are usually a disguise for how they've not particularly mastered any of their dishes? You needn't worry about that at Yeye's 🤤 Not the cheapest warung I've been to, but by far the best value for money taking into account variety and tastiness. So. Much. Tastiness. And vibes. Relaxed, tropical, easy, breezy vibes.

We ate here twice (we were only here for a week and wanted to try different spots but we decided we had to come back here again b/c it was so good). The atmosphere is fun, it's located in this little shopping area off the side of the road with a couple stores next door, clean public bathroom. Tons of seating available, good for groups, individuals, couples, introverts, extroverts. There are overhead fans blowing to keep the area cool and minimize bugs. You order buffet style and they add up amounts for everything on your plate -- we paid 35K - 50K per plate which we felt was fair, cheap, and a "local" price compared to surrounding businesses. This review is about the restaurant and the gift shop. I visited the food place on multiple occasions on a short day because it was great value, great energy, great quality food, and very welcoming. The music was very modern and light and its surroundings went so well together. Great 10/10

I met Yeye, I went into the gift shop to buy some last-minute gifts to take back to the UK for my friends. I was greeted with the most beautiful and spiritual lady with such a glowing aura..

To cut a long story short, I really connected with this lady to get some on the spot healing—-/ what a gift, what a treasure. I think that if you are in this area, you should try and visit this lady, she has more to offer you than items to buy in a shop.
