Avoid at All Costs – Worst Dining Experience in Bali!
We stayed in Bali for 16 days, and unfortunately, our day in Uluwatu was completely ruined because we chose to eat at this awful place. I have traveled to many countries, and this is hands down one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever been to.
We went to Brunch Station Uluwatu on August 7 from Seminyak, planning a full day in Uluwatu. This was supposed to be a quick, enjoyable brunch before sightseeing. We ordered drinks (a coconut and a canned Coke), I ordered Eggs Florentine, and my husband ordered a chicken dish. The drinks alone took over 20 minutes to arrive and that’s just a coconut and a Coke!
While waiting, we noticed something shocking: customers who arrived 15–20 minutes after us were already being served their food. We asked the waiter who took our order about the delay, and he casually said, “Just a few more minutes.” At this point, almost an hour had passed, and we were starving.
Then we saw another group who ordered the same dish as my husband get served before us! I called another waiter to ask what was going on. That waiter spoke to the guy who took our order, and unbelievably, he came over confused and actually asked us, “What was your order again?” - AFTER AN HOUR OF WAITING!
We calmly repeated the order. He promised it would be 10 more minutes. Ten minutes later, he came back to confirm the same order again, then went inside, only to return and tell us, “There’s a problem making the food you ordered in the kitchen.”
Seriously?! How did people who ordered the same dish after us get their food without any “problem”? And then, as if that wasn’t enough, he told us to wait another 15–20 minutes. At that point, we’d had enough and we left.
They are not experts in serving food they are experts in ruining days, wasting time and killing moods. We lost 1.5 hours of our Uluwatu day and left hungry and frustrated.
If this is their idea of customer service, I hope they understand that getting customers is not enough, keeping them matters more. With this level of incompetence, they will face the consequences in the long run.
Avoid this place if you value your time, your mood...
Read moreI had high hopes for Brunch Station Uluwatu, but it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The avocado and salmon toast was a major letdown – the avocado was so unripe it was bitter and practically inedible. The draft beer was another disappointment, as it tasted stale, almost like it came from the drip tray. Thankfully, when I complained to a different staff member, they did replace it with a bottle, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
The service overall was lackluster. While the staff member who replaced my beer was helpful, the waitress who initially served us was sharp and unfriendly, and she looked like she didn’t want to be there at all.
To add to the disappointment, my daughter ordered the pork ribs, which tasted fine, but the portion size was very small for the price. It just didn’t feel like good value for money.
Overall, the combination of poor food quality, inconsistent service, and questionable value made this a place I...
Read moreTerrible staff, expensive and only cheep ingredients. I cannot recommend this place. we had a very bad experience. they forgot to serve the food after 1 hour after all the people from my group had the lunch. Also they forgot to bring us the drinks, after 3 questions they have not provided any feedback. I dont really know why tha is so good rated, I just followed the reviews.
Just to summ up: If you want to eat good and fair food, this is not the place.
If you want a fancy place and you dont care, compared to other places in Bali it can be considered OK.
I ordered a tuna stake extremly well done, rubber ish. It came with plain rice and...
