Nestled in Legian on the main strip, Asoko Bar And Restaraunt is a hidden gem.
From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by friendly faces and cozy seating that invites you to unwind.
One of the standout features of Asoko Bar And Restaraunt is their special pricing on a variety of dishes, making it an excellent choice for both budget-conscious travelers and those looking to indulge. The menu boasts a fusion of traditional Indonesian flavors and modern culinary twists, ensuring there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend trying their Nasi Goreng or Chicken Satay which is perfectly seasoned and served with a side of crispy prawn crackers. The portions are generous, and the flavors are simply divine!
The cocktail menu is another highlight of the restaurant. Each drink is crafted with care, using fresh, local ingredients that truly capture the essence of Bali. The "Purple Rain" cocktail, a refreshing blend of Vodka, Curacao, Strawberry Syrup and Lemon Juice, was a personal favorite. It’s the perfect drink to sip while soaking in the bustle of the surroundings.
For those who enjoy a more relaxed vibe, Asoko Bar And Restaraunt also offers shisha in a variety of flavors. The shisha is well-prepared, and the selection is extensive, making it a great way to unwind after a meal or to enjoy with friends, or to be husband in my case. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to recommend flavors that pair well with your cocktails.
Service at Asoko Bar And Restaraunt is exceptional. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about ensuring you have a memorable experience.
Special mention to Tut Manik and Gede Aurel for their hospitality and making us feel at home by remembering what we order everytime we walk though...
Read moreWe have been frequent diners here over the years, and enjoyed the service, food and ambience. Alas, how things have changed. There was no welcome. We sat for 10 minutes and hubby went up to the counter to ask for menus. Returned to ask for our order to be taken. These were our first two mistakes. The food was vile. I ordered the Thai green pawpaw salad which comprised of green pawpaw with vinegar only dressing. No peanuts or chilli or fish sauce or any discernible flavour. Try the Darwin markets if you need a decent recipe. The accompanying pineapple juice was masquerading as cloudy water of dubious origin. Spring rolls were small and meh. Hubby's quesadillas looked like they had been through a hot wash and had shrunk. Will never return to this sad...
Read moreNot the best, not the worst. We may have had high expectations due to other reviews but found the food to be fairly middle of the road. The ‘Beef Rendang’ was quite nice as was the chicken burger, others on our table had a couple of items missed in their order however the staff were quick to rectify this. Mocktails were good, soft drink was room temperature but the biggest downside for us was the loud music, we could barely hold a conversation and for a Monday night with only two other tables with guests it really was over the top. The prices are quite reasonable and the staff are friendly, plenty of fans to keep the air moving, Amenities were clean and...
