Great burgers – but the smoking ruined the vibe
The burgers were really good – juicy, flavourful, and the size was just right. Not too big, not too small. Everything looked clean and the buns were toasted perfectly. I also liked the option to get fries or onion rings, and the Coca-Cola came ice cold. A proper burger bar, the way it should be.
But unfortunately, the experience was kind of spoiled by the location. The restaurant is right next to the main road, and while we were eating, a few people sat down and started smoking – even though there were clear “no smoking” signs everywhere. It seemed like they had permission from the staff, but honestly, sitting halfway indoors while people are smoking just ruins the atmosphere. It felt dirty and wrong, especially when you’re trying to enjoy your food.
If you don’t mind the smell of smoke, this place might be perfect. But if you’re looking for a clean, relaxed vibe, maybe consider takeaway instead. The food is great – the rest just depends on what...

Who knew I needed to come to Bali to get the best beef burger I’ve ever had? I usually stick to chicken but decided to try something different and was not disappointed. I had the beef and mushroom burger and my partner had Tempeh (vegetarian). We also got a serve of crispy mushroom which was incredible and had the best french fries. So crispy. We didn’t need (just wanted) the crispy mushroom, I would have been full just after the burger and fries.

US beef definitely tastes different than Australian. I'm guessing that's where most of the beef in Bali comes from(I could be absolutely wrong about this) At any rate, I've been to Bali 3 times. Now living here. I'd given up trying to find a good burger. But, I'm close by, the reviews were good and I thought. Maybe one more try. So glad I did! We had a deluxe and Mushroom burger. Tastes so much better than expected. Highly recommend. 2 burgers, fries, onion rings, coke and 2 Bintang. 14 US dollars. Will definitely go back. It's small and like most restaurant in Bali.
