I had food at many indian restaurants mainly ubud, nusa pendia, even In kuta. I thought of trying this place and honestly I felt like it was more of a indian food for foreigners but not indians. I had tea and had ordered dahi Puri as well but very clearly I mentioned not to prepare or bring it before I finish my tea ( quantity is for 2 also was trying to enjoy my tea then rush). While having tea I told the waitress to bring vegetable biryani instead of dahi Puri to which she said it was already prepared, which wasn't true as you know it will get soggy if it is prepared for more then 20min and just is resting in the kitchen. So I HAD to say ok. And then I had the biryani on the go and some at the restaurant. Dahi Puri was blend nothing Indian about it , tamarind sauce was absolutely sour which is fine but the green sauce was sour as well. No filling except potatoes a bit ( I waited for the dish to come after my tea which the staff apparently said was prepared already, I don't know why on earth you have to lie). And this was like 50k something. The accompaniment with veg biryani , the sour curd, the quantity was so less I was feeling embarrassed. A real indian restaurant will know what to give as an accomplishment with an Indian dish but these guys even charge for pickle or onion. I already had quite a bit of rice and then the staff comes and asks me if I want chilly or onion as it free ???? Why would you just not give it with the food ? First time in my months trip to bali I have never felt this disappointed of spending money. You serve Indian food you need heart to serve in an Indian way. And yes since the staff kept asking about feedback I was quite frustrated and I just said yes it's nice because I didn't see the they were gonna do anything about it anyways. Also I did not like how the staff was a bit pressurizing to add more food items ( indirectly while asking for...

Read moreLate in review, visited in July and August 23. After trying other restaurants and big disappointment, I tried this one. It was surprising that one of the best ,authentic Indian foods I found out. I think I visited more than 10 times, and i never disappointed with their food and service. The ambience was awesome. Service is really so nice, music is a little loud but nice to listen to. All the items were with awesome taste, a perfect combination of spices and with awesome taste. I suggest you mist try all kinds of biryanis, all are superb tasty. They prepared lassi from curd..so taste is so different than yoghurt. Roti is so fresh and feels like homemade. I give all credit to chef VIJAY.. one of the master. You can try DAL. Oh my omg that's so superb. Typical North Indian taste.. all vegetables are so superb. Aloo gobi is superstar. But other vegetables are also tasty..I must suggest samosa and tea.. that was mind-blowing, and they serve it very nicely. Staff is so professional. I must suggest that if you are in bali and want to taste authentic Indian food, this is the place where you...
