When I first walked into Rasa Dewata, I noticed how clean and spacious the place was. Everything was neat and tidy. I chose to sit outside for lunch, and it was a really nice choice because it was breezy and comfortable.
The staff at Rasa Dewata were really quick to help, super friendly, and paid attention to what I needed. They made me feel very welcome.
The food looked amazing when it came to the table. It was nicely decorated but not too much. I had the Nasi Goreng Kecombrang, and it tasted fantastic! The portion was generously sized, offering great value for the price. There was plenty of chicken, and the rice was cooked just right. The only thing was, I asked for it to be very spicy, and it wasn't spicy enough for me.
I also tried a drink called Nona Nano, which sounded exciting because it had chili in it. It looked great, with chili flakes around the top of the glass, but it was too sweet for me to enjoy.
For starters, I had Ketoprak Springrolls, which were really good and different. The peanut sauce tasted good without being too strong. The Sate Lilit was okay but nothing special. The vegetarian springrolls were really tasty and crunchy.
At first, looking at the menu, I wasn't sure about the place because there seemed to be a lot of fried rice and noodles. But the food was so good! It really surprised me how much I enjoyed it. I'm definitely going back to try more dishes.
To sum it up, Rasa Dewata is a great place if you want to try some excellent Indonesian food. The place is nice, the service is awesome, and the food is great. I can't wait to go back and eat...
Read moreThis place has an interior design that is easy on the eyes. Warm, modern, and not over the top. It provides complete facilities such as restrooms, a wudu area, and a prayer room for Muslims. I came here for a lunchtime meeting, and the music was politely soft, not loud, so it didn't disturb the conversation. However, in the evening, there is enjoyable live music. All the staff are very friendly and polite, always smiling, and quick to help with anything you request, aside from food.
The Indonesian food tastes authentic. I tried the Suna Cekuh Beef Ribs, Balinese-style seasoned beef ribs, and it was delicious, not overpowering but truly unique. They also have sambal matah that tastes genuinely Balinese, using the characteristic Balinese coconut oil. It was served with traditional Balinese vegetables, which, surprisingly, had just the right seasoning, not too light nor too bold. The portion size is generous, well worth the price and flavor.
For coffee, they offer Dewata Latte, a creamy coffee with Balinese coffee beans, cream, milk, and palm sugar. It's not for sweet coffee lovers, as the bitterness of the coffee still stands out, which gives it its...
Read moreI forgot what exactly we had but the one with rice is a bomb! Kinda different from the usual Asian dish that I know, I enjoyed savouring it. The pandan tea was also a great and refreshing drink. The ambience of the restaurant is relaxing with a beautifully landscaped outdoor seating. Despite the hot temperature on that day, it felt breezy being surrounded by greenery. And the staff who served us was amazing! She does made us happy with...
