Someone recommended it. Really cute place. We just had a couple of burgers. They were nice. Service was friendly. Can’t really say anything negative about this place. Really pleasant experience and food nice. What else can you ask for. Will be going back. Second visit review I previously rated 5 stars but I think I did that prematurely. I returned as previously reviewed, but second time was disappointing. I didn’t think the tacos were that good. My son had a burger and it was genuinely nice. But, as the night wore in, it felt like they wanted us to leave and they did this across the whole restaurant. It was only 9pm. They brought our bill before we had finished our food. They didn’t offer any more drinks, and we did actually want more drinks. They tried to take my sons burger away before he clearly had not finished it. I had to stop them from taking it. And as my son was eating, one of them comes to take the bill without asking thinking I have put money down, which I had not. I just looked at the lady and asked, “Do you want us to leave because you are all making us feel unwelcome.” And all I got was a dirty look. I genuinely from the bottom of my heart want to spend my tourist dollars to help all these places, they have been through so much, but, I think we deserve good service and not rudeness. So I will never go there again, including when I come back to Bali. Sorry, but there are so many lovely restaurants that...
Read moreI fail to see why this place has the great reputation it does, it's definitely funky, if a little austere for my taste. unfortunately the excellent humour that permeates the website isn't reflected at the actual restaurant.
Despite the rather spartan furnishings the prices are very high for Bali, but without the accompanying quality you'd expect. Things stated to go badly once we were presented with grotty menus, there's nothing like being presented with a card resplendent with the spatterings of previous customers meals to really ruin my appetite.
The cocktails my friends and I tried were a watery excuse, I accidentally started drinking my son's smoothy and couldn't tell the difference when I switched.
The greatest crime has to be the great water ripoff, nothing grates me more than being forced to buy mineral water, which at 30K a poncy bottle, is 10K more than a soft drink, with no other reasonable options, such as those we were offered at, ... well, every other establishment we frequented during our week stay. Yes the service and desserts are excellent, but fail to make up for an overall disappointing experience. By all means charge premium prices for a premium experience, but at the very least, give your customers more reasonable options for a fundamental like...

Food was generally acceptable, especially the rendang Location was easy to reach from beaches and centre of Seminyak Interior was pleasant Quite varied international menu, with many ‘crowd-pleasers’. Probably good for kids, and we did see lots of families there.
Negatives
Weirdly over-hyped based on reviews here and on other platforms - perhaps it used to be better? The food was just OK, nothing mind blowing, but the prices were similar to other much better meals we had in Bali.
Chicken wasn’t cooked through so had to be sent back. To be fair, it did return cooked.
Apart from the initial greeting, service was not friendly. We got the sense that once we had ordered, that was it, job done. We had to get up to ask for our bill after waiting around for about 10 minutes and there was no goodbye from the staff. The cashier looked thoroughly miserable as we paid.
Aircon was freezing cold in the entire restaurant.
Overall, this is the definition of a bang average restaurant. You can get much better for the same price in many other places. Sorry to say we wouldn’t return here (as a 30-something couple), but I can somewhat see the appeal if you have a...
