Warung Putra Fantaola — Restaurant in Kuta

I'm a married 49 year old Australian male travelling solo 11.09.24. Stayed at a guesthouse nearby and stumbled on this little gem. Before I begin I believe it may have changed names. I think it was formerly Warung Putra Fantaola. It is now Warung Jawa Timur. Such a cute little place. Looking at others comments I think I could have eaten here every day. Unfortunately I was only staying for the day. I had the Nasi Goreng and a bottle of Coke for the ridiculous price of less than $3 AUSD. The taste was sensational. There were a few locals in the warung which drew me in. The staff were very friendly. Absolutely loved it. Great place to people watch from too. Hope to go...

The most disgusting experience in our trip to Bali Veyr unhygienic place, food took nearly an hour to prepare, everything was overcooked and underwhelming. The satay was charcoal black and inedible. We were so hungry so did ate what we could tolerate and left.

The toilet was beyond disgusting and had someone sleeping next to it.

I can't believe the positive reviews (which what made us choose this place initially as it was near our hotel). It was the low point in otherwise incredible holiday to Bali and we had a lot of amazing food besides this place

Kind reminder: This restaurant is absolutely terrible and disgusting. Not only does it take forever to serve the food, but the quality is also extremely poor. The grilled fish tasted like it was made from frozen fish, not fresh live fish.

I only ate here once in a single day, and I ended up with food poisoning (gastroenteritis).

My anus won’t stop shooting out poop, my whole body feels weak, and I’ve been miserable almost the entire day.

I’ve been feeling awful for days, and now I just want to punch one of the staff members.
