I have eaten at KP for the last 30 years at different location starting in Mumbai and after I moved to Singapore. The whole experience in Kuta Bali was pathetic. We went for lunch at 12 noon today. The poorie and Papdi was stale. So was the sev. They did not have bhel as they ran out of kurmura. They did not have half the menu available. They even ran out of tamarind chutney. Service was poor I had to get up from my table and ask for things from the kitchen. The manager was incompetent. He knew the service was bad when we were asking why the tamarind chutney was not coming to the table for 15 min he said the waitress had gone to buy some. When I asked him who do I make a complaint too. He said "him" and there was no higher up or feedback form I could fill. I still allowed him to redeem himself when the bill came and asked him what he was going to do to make up for the stale food and bad service and he said he could NOT do anything.. So, I paid the bill and walked out. He has ruined all my good memories of KP all these years. Definitely not going back . There are a lot of Indian restaurants around KP Kuta you are better off...

First we ordered idli and after getting our order another staff member advised south indian menu was not available that day. Then we ordered pav bhaji, after 15 mins got told pav is not available so need to order something else this was looking like a joke to me. Everything is very expensive compared to other restaurants in surrounding areas and also the ambiance is not so welcoming. The owner was shouting at the staff in front of all the guests and was looking very unprofessional. The things that were not available on the menu some how appeared on final bill and when we gave card for bill payment the owner said they only accept cash. They should have advised the guests or should have put a sign for cash only at the entrance. I have to find a currency exchange at 10pm in night with my family waiting outside the restaurant. This was happening to somany guests on that night and every one was very upset about this.
Don't get fooled by the name of restaurant as it is a part of well known restaurant chain in India but failed to keep their name's legacy...
