I am Indonesia, but i am Indian food lover, this time i took dinner at Ganesha Ek Sanskriti Restaurant Lippo Mall Kuta Usually i come to another Indian restaurant by do alacarte, but this time i booked dinner package from Bali Sundaram travel ( one of travel agent in Bali special Indian market), we booked nonveg package and got salad, jeera rice, 2 kind of bread ( i choose butter naan and plain naan, one main course chicken or fish ( i choose dhaba murg), and yellow dhal, also get some condiment like papad and yogurt, and also get dessert ( i choose gulab jamum).. Then i order extra Pani puri without Allo, and order extra fish curry..
Now time to review the taste! The taste so yummy, all menus i mentioned above no failed, all so delicious, butter naan very soft, and my fav is yellow dhal, so tasty! We finished all food serve on table! Hahaha
When we dinner, only our face that Indonesian face, all another customer are Indian only, hahaha
All staffs and waiters there very friendly and fast serve food
And now time to tell about price! Indian food in Bali actually kind of expensive food if buying alacarte, one portion side dish like fish curry is around IDR 150.000 but can sharing for 2-3 person, rice start from IDR 90.000 and soon, but we have suggest, do package menu!! You Will feel unbelievable how cheap Indian food if you order package from travel agent, you can save 70% your money!! Believe me!!
And one more important thing, if you do Indian food package you can Refill all your menu that your choose! Amazing!
Overall Ganesha Lippo Mall Kuta very recommended! Small problem only about toilet, need long way to walking inside mall, other than that, all...
Read moreWe came here for dinner around 17:30, was quite surprised there was nobody here eating but we still gave it a go as it’s one of the most popular restaurants for Indian food in Bali. I was a bit surprised about the price initially because not far off the U.K. for Indian food in pricing. The sodas were 45K, which I personally feel like they could be cheaper as not everybody wants a heavy drink like lassi or milkshake with their food, so just went for a bottle of water which was still 19K. The price for the chicken curries were 145K each and the rice was 70K. The naan breads were cheap in my opinion for 45K each and they were the best naan breads I’ve ever tasted! Especially the chilli and cheese naan as the cheese is strong! The rice portion was enough for 2 as well, I was worried I’d have to spend 140K on rice for both of us, but it worked out well in the end.
The curries themselves were packed with flavour and were a decent portion. There was plenty of chicken. I really enjoyed the meal and would love to come back one day!
My only recommendation is to bring the price of sodas down because they’re only 4-5K in supermarket, don’t need to sell for 45K, then maybe people will be willing to spend more on drinks by getting multiple for the table. Also the hand wash was outside (next to another restaurant in front) so thought that was weird esp when Indian food is supposed to be eaten with hands. Anyway, great service from the staff who were very friendly! We...
Read moreIf i had a chance I would give zero...such a bad service..i have gone to so many resturants but such a bad service... We had already got a reservation..when we reached the place..they tell our reservation was not booked..it would not matter to me if it was not a pre-paid booking by our toursit company...and made us sat just like that waiting for about 15mins..no one to confirm anything..or dint even ask us to sit anywhere.. atleast as a matter of courtesy And then after all the confusion they finally ask us to sit somewhere and give us the menu card to order..and we ordered..after ordering the food, they came and they had given us a complimentary snack just like for everyone else..but in the middle of our food they realise that we are the pre booked ones..came to us and tell that if u order anything else you have to pay..and in the middle of eating they picked up the complimentary snack and took away..we were still hafway done with the dinner..it was really embarrassing..we,as a couple were very very disappointed
Lastly, there is no washroom inside the hotel. We recommend Indians not to order rotis or other foods to be eaten by hands because no finger bowl or wash basin to wash.. you'll just have to wipe your masala hand with a...
