Taking away our drink bcos we should go to visiting our family member. The baristas are nicely asked whether we need the ice for the coffee we take away (I asked if I can use my own tumbler instead of their plastic cup and they were fine) so that they add extra ice for my coffee.
The cafe ambience the interior design and detail (and also the coffee) making us so in love with these cafe. You should trust me when I score the coffee 8.5/10 I liked how bitter the coffee perfectly fits their not so sweet banana fritters.
Actually this cafe was in my want to go for months and finally we can stop by bcos the traffic wasn’t so bad and I even got to park our car nearby. Super loved 🫶🏼
If only we didn’t have to visit our relatives, we might be here until closing and never bored. We truly enjoy being here, tasting the coffee, knowing the story behind this old but lovely toko kopi. I wish to visit this cafe everytime we go to Malang, and hoping the owner will always keep in business...

Read moreWe came to pass by this cafe at night when exporing the kayutangan heritage street and decided to give this cafe a try the next day.
We ordered iced Kawisari Coffee Madeleine and Kawisari Signature ived coffee. Both coffees were really great! They were definitely worth a try and highly recommended. They definitely know their coffee.
We also ordered a slice of mocha cake but it was just so so. Not bad but not great either.
We were there after lunch time around 2pm and it was really quite and peaceful quite the opposite at night when most locals visit the cafe. It can get warm/hot inside during daytime. The place is al fresco, they dont have AC.
The staffs know very little english.
Give this cafe a try if you're up for local coffee experience...
