Burger King — Restaurant in Malang

Lesson learned from BK Malang this evening: The furthest right line (one the closest to their soft-drink fridge and sauce container) is allocated for ride-hail service. If you are regular customers, kindly choose another line. Otherwise, you will spend 30 mins for nothing! I was standing on that line for 30 minutes because I saw few regular customers in front of me. However, while queueing, BK staffs served some ride-hail service drivers telling regular customers that "this line is allocated for ride-hail service riders and thus, should they order, we should put them as priority." A guy standing in front of me said that BK staff told customers to stand in that line because earlier no driver was there"

I can understand that this place is new and therfore, has always been crowded. However, some notifications won't hurt. I would like to report to your manager on duty, but unfortunately no one seemed to be in-charge. The staffs were running around like headless chicken, which...

Came by 14.17 PM and my order arrived at 14.37 PM. A fast food restaurant serves more than more than 5 mins? Seriously!? Your place wasnt that really crowded! Some menu were sold out too due to lacking of buns. Disappointing.

Burger was so tiny compared with fast food restaurant and price was same. So it's not really worth to buy burgers here. Fried chicken was rather big on bones than meat.

Worst case was my burger contained piece of melted plastic assuming from spatula. I was lucky I didnt eat any plastic after 1st bite. Very very poor management in kitchen and now I'm quite questioning your kitchen hygiene and I'm telling you it's gonna be big issue.

However, I'm happy your staff was willing to replace mine eventhough I had to wait for another 8 mins. Keep in mind, one of your staff handling packaging has such bad attitide. No one likes being served like that!

Nilai 4.5 karena tidak semua promo BK berlaku di sini (tanya kenapa?) dan karena tempat makan kurang luas. Bangunan: Lokasinya strategis, dekat dengan banyak kampus dan ijen boulevard yang menjadi salah satu lokasi wisata di Kota Malang. Bangunannya hanya 1 lantai dan ini merupakan big NO mengingat panjangnya antrian, baik antrian untuk memesan makanan dan untuk mendapatkan tempat duduk. Menurut petugas parkir, tempat ini hampir selalu penuh setelah pukul 10.00 sampai 13.00, jadi kalau tidak ingin mengantri lama sebaiknya jangan datang di antara jam-jam tersebut. Parkiran berbayar untuk mobil dan motor mampu menampung banyak kendaraan. Tersedia pula toilet, musholla, wastafel dan tempat makan outdoor.

Makanan: Kami memesan double cheese burger dan BBQ beef rasher. Ukuran burgernya relatif lebih kecil daripada Burger S*, tetapi menurut saya tidak menjadi masalah karena rasanya enak, mulai dari bun (roti) wijennya, patty, saus dan acarnya. Daging pattynya dibumbui dengan baik dan matang hingga bagian dalam. Selain itu, kandungan lemaknya pun tidak banyak sehingga aman dan tetap enak dimakan walaupun burger dingin. Yaa, walaupun burger hangat jauh lebih baik daripada dingin. Menurut saya, yang menjadikan BK khas adalah acarnya, khas american type burger. Selain burger, BK juga menyesuaikan menunya untuk customer Indonesia dengan adanya pilihan menu ayam dan nasi. Dan rupanya hal ini sukses membawa pengunjung untuk datang, karena banyak juga yang datang ke BK untuk memesan menu ayam, bukan burger.
