Wow! The best authentic Indonesian meals on Lembongan. I have to admit, I walked past this place everyday the last 4 days and didn’t flinch an eye. But I got fed up with these foreign owned restaurants that pump out average food and charge way too much, so I started looking where the locals eat. I ordered beef rendang and it came with many little sauces, marinated slow cooked beef, vegetables and extras served with rice and it was like an adventure on a plate. This is the best place to eat local in Nusa Lembongan! The food is amazing, and the owner is super friendly. I’ve been here several times during my stay on Nusa Lembongan, and it never disappoints. The authenticity of the local cuisine here is unmatched. It's a shame more foreigners don’t give these local gems a try because they’re afraid of getting sick. Instead, they end up at big restaurants with nothing local to offer. This warung is cheaper, better, and gives you a true taste of the island....

Okay…wow. I’ll admit that I can be nervous to try stands like this due to a fear of getting sick but this was the most delicious meals I’ve ever eaten. The beef rendeng was so epic that we’ll be going back again for it tomorrow. The one table meant we also got talking to a local on his work break making it an even lovelier experience.
