Sibarita bar & resto — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

Not only the best tacos on the island (by far) but some of the absolute best in SE Asia! Trust me, I am from the Southern USA and am used to eating authentic Mexican street tacos all over SW USA, Mexico, and also on the West Coast and in Hawaii. I'm a taco snob and I know what I am talking about. We had the fish tacos, the steak tacos, and the prawn tacos. The tuna empanada was also absolutely fantastic! They came with handmade real corn tortillas (which is hard to pull off in Asia), fresh made salsa, and fresh guacamole. All of the tacos are delicious and authentic. The seafood was fresh and outstanding. They also have a really good fish and chips! The atmosphere is very laid back, on the beach in the sand, right by the water. I washed down my food with a great microbrew from Island Brewing that was just like home. I've been all over SE Asia and I always look for the best tacos. This is it. Best tacos on...

Great bar, lovely view and delicious food. It was lovely to grab some fresh fruit yogurt and granola after the snorkeling tour that departs from the next to the bar.

The only negative point is that the snorkeling tour company that operates from that bar is very bad. Very rude people and did not leave enough time to see the mantas (10 min only in water and very far) which is the whole point of the trip. Too many people on the boat, no fins for my partner, his snorkel did not work properly. We were on a boat called "stallions snorkeling". Not good snorkeling experience. The 8.30 am tour was very crowded. The 10 am tour was less crowded so it would probably be a better experience.
