The Lounge Restaurant Lembongan — Restaurant in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

I didn’t end up eating or drinking here but be aware the first menus you see from 2 years ago (as of May 2025) are out of date.

Was excited to see craft beer/IPAs on a menu but they are no longer offered, unfortunately. I don’t think they serve any alcohol at all. Which is fine, just a heads up for anyone who might be willing to go out of their way (like me) for a hoppy cold one.

Staff was lovely and people seemed to be enjoying their food 🙂

EDITED to respond: when I went to The Lounge’s business page on Google Maps and clicked menu, the first four menus that showed up (as of yesterday) were the ones uploaded by the business two years ago that reflect the craft beer and other bar selections. I see it’s now been removed. Better late than never.

3 stars because people actually read those reviews and I can’t comment in a positive or negative way outside of what I experienced. I would go back now I know what they have to offer but I wouldn’t have gone out of my way if management removed the old menus or uploaded new ones once they stopped offering...

Cozy spot with good food and tasty croissants – The Lounge is worth a visit! ☕🥐🥪

We stopped by The Lounge for a relaxed breakfast and enjoyed a variety of items from their menu. The chocolate croissants were definitely the highlight – warm, flaky, and satisfyingly chocolaty 🥐🍫.

We also had a tuna sandwich, pancakes, tea, and a cappuccino. The sandwich was fresh and filling, the tea lovely, and the pancakes were good, though they were quite heavy on the stomach, so better if you’re really hungry 🥞🐟🍵. The coffee was average – not bad, but nothing special either.

The café itself has a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, making it a nice place to take a break, read, or enjoy a quiet meal.

The place looks cosy and inviting. However we were waiting for our shared starter for at least 20 minutes. Then my friend ordered a wrap which they told us 10 minutes later they don't appear to have. My friend got her chicken burger after 25 minutes and my vegetarian salad unfortunately arrived just when she was done eating her food. While starting to eat, I found meat in my salad!! I'm a vegetarian and was very unhappy with this. I went to the bar to bring it back but the bartender didn't seem to care at all.
