Read moreAn amazing experience!! I never expect to have a great dine in a quite rural area.. Here's what I can sweet remember about the Shed:
First, the menu. We ordered burger as the only menu list in Traveloka. The taste is superb!! Unlike a fast-food chain burger, it is a home-made burger with full local ingredients. The patty was excellent cook... So happy!!
As addition, we also tried the ice-coffee which feels like drinking a genuine Bali 'kampong' coffee. And, if you can drink alcohol, try the local cocktails! We just knew this secret menu after chitchat with the manager.. haha. The taste was really nice, and something worth it because it is used local Arak Bali!!
Second, the hospitality. All staffs were very friendly and polite! Even the manager talked with us several times to explain about menu and restaurant concept. The experience was similar in fine-dining restaurant; even slightly better because it is felt very homey and local.
Third, the ambience. The restaurant is beside the paddy terrace. In Saturday night, we were lucky to see a Balinese dance performance there.. even took some photo.
Note: after finish the dine, we just realized that the Bali music that we heard was coming from the Pura, in front of restaurant. So, we dined with a 'live' music! What a day!!
In short, The Shed has won my heart. I am still amazed with the experience. Price-wise is okay..considerably inexpensive compare with the taste, the hospitality and the ambience.
It has been added to my must-visit restaurant...

Upon ordering our food, the server couldn't understand when I was trying to communicate that I had a peanut allegery (not a massive problem as the language barrier can be an issue anywhere), we thought with the name of the restaurant being in English, we might be lucky with them being able to understand but they couldn't so didn't take the risk with ordering a starter.
Had the pizza for main course which I've got to say, wasn't the best. It tasted a bit like a frozen pizza with big lumps of tomato thrown in.
Weren't overly pleased with the service as we sat with our empty plates for easily half an hour before they were eventually collected with staff constantly wandering past (at this time most of the diners had left so it was quiet). There also didn't seem to be any policing of the no smoking or vaping policy in place (not that it bothered me but may bother others).
Overall, the food was cheap, the service was a bit naff and the food was...
