Very friendly waiter/barista. Comfortable place, great for relaxing or doing assignments. Wifi and plenty of power outlets.
Tried the manual brew, Ethiopia Gomoro and Rwanda beans, both gave off very clear tasting notes, can't say exactly what the notes are but in hindsight gomoro is fruity, apple-y(?) and rwanda tastes creamy while light bodied (idk how, but trust me), smells literally like milk chocolate, will order this again next time I go there. For the food I ordered Tofu Quinoa, uhm, don't. To me it's not worth it, if you like food that has very little seasoning and little processing then sure, go nuts. Though keep in mind the tofu is NOT tofu, it's regular beancurds (tahu) although a bit better than the usual. HOWEVER, the other menu looks alright, can't give you opinions on that though. Definitely a new experience to those new to coffee (no, not the usual milk coffee kind) and a worthy reccomendation for seasoned coffee enthusiasts.
Oh btw do make sure you bring enough (or have enough rather) because the price is up there, especially the food.
TL;DR: Decent place, 5/5 coffee, not your first...

My personal favourite is their Cappuccino, it has a very smooth texture and not too milky (unlike most of the coffee in Indonesia), and if you prefer black coffee definitely ask the friendly baristas to recommend their special filter of the day, you will love it! And if Indonesia's weather is too hot for you, go for their cold brew, it is super refreshing!
On top of all that, the place is super cozy and comfortable with white dominant interior and a hint of wood, love the combination. You will see a lot of Dutch Colonial Architecture all over the ceiling and doors, those are original from the Dutch Imperial Period (How cool is that?) and the building is now part of Cultural Properties of Indonesia
Definitely worth the visit (again, and again), highly...
Read moreA cozy cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating, the outdoor area is very nice with lots of greenery. I went on a Sunday morning when it was packed with cyclists but the atmosphere still felt calm and relaxing. I ordered the mushroom toast on seed sourdough bread, which was delicious. The iced Americano was okay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the cafe has a view nice extras like free WiFi, National Geographic and Discovery magazines, and some self improvement books you can read on site. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but I think it's worth for the good service and chill vibe. A great spot to unwind or catch up...
