BlackBarn Coffee — Restaurant in Surabaya

Wooden rustic themed. Newest information I got from my last visit at 5th January 2018, if you want to do photoshoot for endorsement stuff each person must order 1 food & 1 drink.

There's not much photo spot tho' since the indoor area is dark. And it'll be dominant in yellow lamp when it gets darker which I don't really like to take picture at.

I think the outdoor area is better for you to take picture but it's a little bit narrow so it's a challenge for you to get the best result for your photo. Using 50mm is still possible here but more that that? I have no idea but I won't recommend you using lens with bigger focal lenght .

For foods personally I love their Soto Mie and Pocheeseto. For fingerfoods or for sharing I recommend you to try their fried mushroom.

For drinks especially for girls who don't really get along with coffee ( especially because of bitterness or acidity of coffee) , you should try their Vanilla Peach Latte I bet you'll like it. The coffee is not to strong. Trust me, take a sip and you won't be disappointed.

Another drink recommendation is Strawberry yogurt. And their new menu "BukanMarjan" . It's like a watermelon drink. So refreshing.

Here you can also play dart game at their Dart machine with your friends. Pay IDR 10.000 for each person to play a game, you can bring your own dart or you can use the dart they provide in cafe. But still recommend you to bring your own...

i’m alone and studying at the outdoor after the indoor. foods and beverages, service, ambience, everything are fine. just until it’s sunset and the cicak starts to get out and trying to touch my food. that one time i’m getting focused to reply texts, 2 of them are on my table, and one of them has already on the side ON MY PLATE. i’m disgusted until the point i can remember it was the dark skinned one that touched my food. i couldn’t eat it anymore. it’s just too bad cz i’ve been here several times since 2022, and this is my first time reviewing this place on google, which sadly has to be a bad review cz i can’t stand such an animal on my plate (i mean, who does? not me, ofc).

Edited they’re fast in engaging and give the food replacement, appreciate it a lot. thumbs up for the team. hopefully they clean the place throughoutly and get some kind of pest control. the place is too good to leave such an experience. overall, it was a good...

I dont always go out for a beer / casual dinner, but when i do i go to thiz Blackbarn & order a beer bucket with fries. Never fails. Especially "buy 1 bucket to get 1 free bottle" yey!

My life in Surabaya was Everyday-is-workingday in office, where lived in. (not anymore tho, puji Tuhan). The office was in east side of Surabaya and i was willing to spend 27min to go Blackbarn. It explains everything. LOLLL

They have arcade machine (IDR 2,000 but only by two of IDR 1,000 coin) & also dart machine!

ow! Special thing you MUST TRY is #dicetakintetangga , which means "printed by neighbor" in indonesian. So you can borrow their film camera & take several photo and they will send you the printed photos by email! how lovely it isss!! So def u...
