DeMandailing Cafe — Restaurant in Surabaya

I really love this place, not only their calm ambience but also tasty yet healthy food.

They serve appetizer, main dish and dessert. Appetizer such as french fries, and etc. Their french fries has so many varieties, such as rendang taste, etc. They have many varieties of main dish such as curry rice (you could ask for red rice), pasta, and they also have red egg. Their desserts are good and not too sweet, such as pancake, waffle, and mille crepes. For beverage, they serve coffee, tea, and other sweet frappe, etc. For people who loves coffee, this place is recommended. They really use varieted original coffee bean, and they also serve V60.

For ambience, i like it, based on my introvert personality, this place is so calm and not too crowded. And you could enjoy your “me time”. But if you want to have large scale people / group of people such as reunion or meeting, this place also can be a good choice, because they also have 2nd floor which is quite wide.

And their staffs are friendly and not the judgmental type. So even if you only ordered a glass of beverage, it’s really okay.

They also have membership which is quite cheap, you can use that membership to get free coffee every afternoon. And discount for every new products.

Ah also another point plus is clean restroom and super quick wifi !

Overall, this place is super...

Look small in the first time enter this place but huge in upstair! So no worry if you bring more than 8 people. Food was good, I love the herb n cheese french fries,their pancakes also good and big! The vegetable katsu curry rice also recommend but maybe I'll buy a big portion next time 😂 Sorry there is no photo due to I went with group so we chat a lot and forgot to took a pict of food. For the price was reasonable.. Good place to hangout with ur friends after office hour! I give 4 star cause we're in group and not easy to find the waitress to took another order when we sit in upstair.. we have to go down and ask them up.. I know I know that's their regulation.. that will be nice if there any bell on every table like famous jap resto. This place not for kids I think,because the place was small in 1st floor and the stairs lil bit danger for kids below 5yrs. And sorry there is no smoking area 😂 Overall, we're satisfied and definitely will...

Update on 17/Feb/2023 The food here is always tasty, and the portion is always generous. The food is served really quickly. Every time the service is excellent. Today when I used QP payment to pay, the transaction was pending while the money was deducted by the bank already, hope the money can be received by Demandailing, if still hasn’t received, please feel free to contact me.🙏

Original review: My Surabaya friend took me to this cafe. It is an ideal place to dine, chat, or doing university assignments here.

Polite and friendly service. Dishes were served quickly and nicely.
