Fifteenth Cafe by Mark Design — Restaurant in Surabaya

Located on Lombok street, central area.

The design of the cafe is super comfy. Used to be an old house which they transform to a wooden classic cafe. 5 stars given for the atmosphere! Great ambience.

Service is very kind and polite. The staffs are helpful explaining their menus. Serving snacks and some dishes aswell.

Available indoor and outdoor seatings. 1 VIP room is available with minimum of rupiahs 300,000 spent. They also provide a roasting coffee class by appointment.

It was my first visit and I just came by for Bailey Coffee takeout. It is a good coffee. For sure will come again next time when I have more time in central area.

The parking space is very very limitted. Maybe like 2 or 3 cars top. But you can park...

So I got there around 1 PM on 8/1/2024, ordered some food and drinks. The prices were normal, but honestly, the taste wasn’t anything special. No biggie though, the vibe of the place was nice.

Fast forward to around 6 PM, and they told me I had to move because the table was "reserved." It wasn’t the biggest issue, but like, the food and drinks were just average. What’s annoying though is the service and management. If you’re gonna have reservations, at least let people know when they arrive or before they order! I got told to leave like 30 minutes before the reservation, which I’ve honestly never experienced at a café before. It’s strange to take reservations for tables that are already in use. I'm very disappointed. My first visit here was pleasant, but my second experience was a disaster. The air conditioning is ineffective; it seems they are only running the dry mode (Surabaya is currently extremely hot). The Wi-Fi isn't functional either. Therefore, I cannot recommend this place if you intend to work. However, if you're looking a place for hanging out, I would recommend it due to its appealing interior design and vibes. But for working, I'm sorry to say, it's a no-go. I hope they can make...
