A good upscale/fancy vegetarian restaurant in Surabaya. 100% does not use allium but it does serve eggs. You can request for no eggs.

Interior wise, Verte has a nice and simple decor, Good vibes and clean. A nice place to bring friends and family for a fancy vegetarian meal. Appetizers and sides range between IDR 30K - 55K per dish. Mains ranges between IDR 40K to 100K per dish. It is definitely on the pricier side, but it’s fitting because of the ambiance and the generally friendly service staff.

We had the salad, ramen, spinach bechamel toast, creamy pesto pasta, bolognese pasta, veggie tempura, cauliflower pops, bbq corn ribs… Most of the food are good tasting and the portion is decent. Some of the standouts for us were the creamy pesto pasta, bolognese pasta, veggie tempura and the cauliflower pops.

We were so hungry and food was so delicious that we forgot to take picture of the other food.

I ordered Kale salad, and there was not even one Kale in it , only normal salad. You know - Kale and normal salad are 2 totally different things. So if you have Kale salad on the menu - it should have Kale in it. Otherwise you cheating your customers. Besides that - everything else was perfect. Pasta was super yummy, Kung Pao very tasty..the healthy juices were very very good. Staff was friendly and polite, the place is clean and comfortable and the consept is very good, so good overall job. We need vegetarian / vegan restaurants in Surabaya, so thank you for opening up. One moore thing - Vegetarians and Vegans dont usually eat eggs ( like me ) So in the future its better you ask your customers if they are okey eating eggs. I was very suprised to find eggs in 2 different dishes...that usually does not happen in vegetarian / vegan restaurants since eggs are an animal product So just inform your customers please...
