THE SOCIALITE SURABAYA — Restaurant in Surabaya

First at all, I can't find where they put their restaurant name sign, but I came in because google maps said this is the place.

The food is so-so, maybe because the day I came is crowded so we have to wait for a looooong time until the food finnaly come out I ordered spaghetti beef ribs which is fishy and spicy and neither the menu or waiter give warning for it

The drink is ok, I ordered "blended pink berry cheese" but I hardly tell any cheese there and in the description, its written blended Strawberry but it just taste like ordinary Strawberry milk, not fresh Strawberry

For the dessert, I think they make (or buy) it then put it in the refrigerator for a quite long time so the taste not that fresh

It's too crowded and the music too loud, it's hard to talk there because its too noisy

Very Nice Place! Its happening for Instagramable location, but watch out for low light will messed up your photo.

Thats where the nice things stopped... The food is mediocre, so its nothing special.

The bad thing were the servers, they seem like zombies flies... Zomebie because it require several repetition to get order correct and they fly around like dont know what they doing.. While they were needed, they flock to other tables like flies colony... Moreover i dont know if its server fault or kitchen fault, few items like soup arrived last after we cleaned up the main courses (and we're having quiet slow dinner)

Whats turned me off were when they just served the bill in middle or dinner and conversation. How rude! The staff were clueless and after my sarcastic remarks about the bill, they just dont give any feed back. What an ignorant! Oh well, that would be my...

We are actually having a group dinner. I had Norwegian salmon which was very good and tasty, and on the side I had mashed potatoes which was really amazing. We ordered a few different types of food they were very amazing BUUUTTT one of our friends ordered a beef Wagyu burger and she had a surprise in it. She found alive earthworm was roaming around in the beef patty. Which was very yuck, UNBELIEVABLE!!! Sadly we didn't take any picture of it. I'm sure their staff would know which of their customers were writing this review. For this high style restaurant where the food isn't cheap, they forgot to maintain their quality properly.
