This restaurant is an absolute gem right by the beach. The environment is charming and unique, with even the toilet featuring comics that make you smile. We also loved the quirky shark tissue holders on the table. It is not just the ambiance that makes this place special; the food is outstanding. The burger was cooked to perfection, while the steak exceeded all expectations and became an instant favorite. It's safe to say that this was the best steak we have ever had. The food was fantastic. The dragon fruit with coconut milk smoothie slapped. The tuna ceviche was very good as an appetizer.

Now, the service. Just to be clear, the negative experiences I had were just from a few staff members. The first day I came onto the island I was sweaty and bogged down with luggage and couldn’t get data on my phone. I asked to use shark bite’s Wi-Fi to get directions which they allowed but the server made cutting and rude comments when I said I would not order right then but would come back after checking into my hotel. Needless to say, I was startled by the rudeness and decided to eat elsewhere for dinner.

We've been here for both lunch and dinner. For lunch my gf had the Croque Monsieur, a veritable cheese lovers feast and I had the Turkish köfte sandwich - just the right amount of spice. Both tasted really well, portions were a good size. For dinner I had the burger, which was really good. I'm not too fond of mushrooms, but they were actually good on this occasion. My gf had the homemade lasagna which was much better than what you would expect in Southeast Asia. The atmosphere at Sharkbites is really chilled and the staff are very friendly. Also, considering the touristy location the toilet is actually remarkably clean. Would definitely recommend. However, if you're expecting traditional Asian food, you're in the wrong place.
