zZz Warung — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

The food is absolutely the BEST and I came back again. This place does not hold anything back at all. I had the crispy vegetarian spring rolls, a tempeh burger, and the fish & vegetable curry. My friend had the vegetable curry dish and then the fish bbq dish. I usually take photos but we just really dug in.

Crispy vegetarian spring rolls - they come in a set of three BIG rolls, you can get full from it alone! It comes with a delicious sweet soy sauce.

Tempeh burger - the tempeh here is soooo good. The burger includes a real nice thin, lightly crispy egg. Completely delicious.

Both curry dishes - the curry is absolutely delicious. I just wish the fish pieces are a bit plentiful, oh well.

The fish bbq - the portion is quite small, but it packs a PUNCH when it comes to flavors.

(DONT get the ginger tea, it tastes realllly bad for some reason, such a bummer)

As for the service, it can take a short while, but don’t see an issue with it. It’s a truly local, family owned restaurant.

Great place if you want some local character with tasty food. You will sit on a variety of chairs with mismatching tables, maybe allone or next to someobe you’ve never met.

The food is authentic local food and tastes excellent! Their iced lemon tea is strong but good (take with sugar if you’re not used to the bitter taste of black tea). The Cah Kangkung here is just delicious, as are all the other dishes we had…

Because the place was busy, the waiter did forget the odd drink and some side dishes came after we had finished our mains which was a bit unfortunate (hence 4 stars for service) but it isn’t reason to complain since we didn’t have to wait long for our mains.
