One of the best beer selections in Cork city, if not the entire county. Eclectic atmosphere with good views out onto the river and road. The beer list really is quite impressive. A rare spot that (from what I could tell) does not even serve Irish stout. They also have a healthy selection of (mostly Irish) whiskey. They do serve a few wines and also have other spirits at the bar for anyone not interested in a beer or whiskey. I find the prices reasonable and you can get a discount for take out. It's a beer lovers bar rather than your run of the mill Irish pub. The clientele are sound and mostly keep to themselves so you can enjoy a pint in peace. If you are in Cork and get a chance I would highly recommend you pop in for a few.
