This a gluten free review. Myo was great! This cafe has some sweet and savoury options. The savory options are things like quiche and the sweet options are things like a apple berry crumble which was amazing.
The staff are lovely and really willing to take the time to read into things like the oat milk for you (which has previously cross contaminated me in other venues, it's not GF but still nice that they looked while the queue was growing), or if the crumble touched off something by accident they would catch that immediately and give you another slice (even though I stupidly said oh I'll eat it anyway! I'm still getting used to advocating for my dietary requirements).
It's a small cafe so options are limited of course, but it's a beautiful cafe next to the river and with lovely staff and at least your not paying for a whole restaurant. I've found it hard finding cafes in the city as opposed to restaurants to cater to GF. I'd definitely recommend here. They have some stone tables along the river with chess tables carved in and the cafe will loan you the chess pieces. It's a nice chill evening and no worries about...
Read moreThis is a great spot to chill out in general but especially if you're vegan or vegetarian as they have lots of sweet and savoury vegetarian and vegan treats. Even the marshmallows are suitable for vegans, according to a staff member. Their produce is natural and wholesome. I had a slice of jaffa cake and a chai latte. The music is relaxing too-a mix of Spanish and English was playing when I was there. The staff are lovely. The only thing is that there isn't much space inside to sit down. There are some seats and tables but it's a popular spot so they're snapped up quickly but there's outdoor seating so if the weather is pleasant, you could sit outside. The prices are reasonable too. I'd definitely...
Read moreI really like the atmosphere in this place and the staff is friendly. Coffee is good too. But their breakfast is an overpriced and boring affair. You get a kind of DIY plate with a bowl of completely flavourless store-bought granola (or puffy rice), a jug of milk, a small bowl of greek yoghurt and another tiny bowl of a berry-sauce thing. I simply didnât know how to approach it. The greek yoghurt was gone fast and then I poured the milk over the granola, which made it even more disastruous. This was something you would serve a kid on a stressful morning right before school. Except here you pay nearly 12 euro for it. I left feeling very...
