CRUST — Restaurant in Cork

I ordered 2 pizzas through Deliveroo from Crust Pizza and this didn't match the quality when I originally ate at the pizzeria (keeping in mind that the store doesn't have control over my choice for delivery service). A pity since I did enjoy their pizza. Maybe an off night all around but I expected better. The pepperoni pizza was overdone and ham and mushroom needed more time in oven. BTW: for clarity this is an edited review. I did get a call from the shop to apologize and that was very much appriciated. Especially since my past visit was a completely different experience. I accepted the return invitation and will update my review...

It is very seldom I have the pleasure of ordering a pizza in person and after meeting Jim the owner I was delightfully anticipating the take away treat ahead of me and happy to report my choice of pizza was excellent beyond compare and one of the best I've had. Jim accommodated me warmly in person and have no doubt that if I ever want to eat a pizza in a location, then I would have no hesitation in selecting this cosy and inviting place and would imagine I would be catered for in the best tradition of Cork hospitality. Top marks for everything and comes highly recommended and I'm never wrong! Good luck...

Having done some research on pizza places in Cork I chose Crust last Saturday night. I had the meaty pizza as it had unusual mix of toppings and it was absolutely delicious. I was sitting across from the counter and was very impressed with the lovely atmosphere and banter of the guys working there. I knew they took their pizza making seriously and yet they had a lovely banter going as well. A glass of their house wine was better than expected and I finished with a good latte. All in all a really good experience and I would definitely go there if I am visiting...
