My friend and I, both students and regular customers of joes and bros went in for food today. When paying for our food and coffees, the server said the price and I questioned if it was a 2 for 1 on sandwiches, as it says on their instagram every Wednesday. The server was very rude and almost laughed at my question as if it was silly to ask. I did not mind paying full price but it could have been handled a lot more politely. Our waitress was so kind and was managing the floor alone.

A lot of expensive places for breakfast around Cork city. The sausage roll deal here was good value. More than enough to keep you going for a few hours and any coffee with that for €7.90 (I’m sure) Claiming the best sausage roll in Cork was the main draw. Well, it was the best I’ve ever had and a fair size too. Not scabby with the sausage filling like many other places. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Stumbled upon this place while walking around the city looking for a place that served brunch. The menu is very comprehensive and loads of options to choose from. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. I walked in on a Saturday a little before brunch and it started getting very busy. I will definitely go back!

We ordered Avo & Co and Tater Tots, but received fries instead of Tater Tots. Which was a bit disappointing as we had spent €4 on them, for a tiny box of soggy chips. Disappointed with the Avo & Co as I had had it a few times before so was expecting it in a brioche bun. However this time it was an open-faced sandwich on sourdough with feta (don't like feta). This would have been understandable if they had actually updated the menu on their website reflecting the change but the menu details still had the previous version. Bit disappointed as we had been going here a few times before and accepted that they don't give tater tots/sauce with the burgers, but to not get these when we had paid separately for them and also for the menu to not reflect the food you were ordering was...

They do really amazing burgers. Love the all of them pretty much. They do a great on Thursday with a BOGO offer on all burgers on the evening menu. I had the brisket burger the last time. It had a lot to live up to as I've have very good brisket from BBQ places in Orlando from Sonny's and 4Rivers. Joe's and bros definitely stepped up to the plate with theirs. I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed it. The spicy chicken burger and candied bacon burger are really tasty too. They call the little potatoe pieces that come with it tator tots. They aren't actually traditional Tator tots like you would get in the US. They are still really good though. Served like they are cut real potatoes. There's still loads of things I want to try on their lunch menu....

This place used to be a 5 out of 5 for me but things have changed a lot. Not sure if it's a new owner, manager or chef but quality is gone down. Prices have gone up by about 30% but Tots no longer come with your order, the tots are not what they used to be either. What used to be the best steak sandwich in Cork was removed from the menu (who's bright idea was that) and it's basically 14 euro for a fancy ham and cheese toasty now and the other new sandwiches are basic are overpriced. Staff are still nice and coffee is good though. Disappointing to see it fall off so much though, used to go out of our way to call in when in Cork but will be avoiding it going forward. Much better value for Money around the...
