An Unforgettable Experience at Brogan's From the moment we walked in, we were met with a warmth that set the tone for the entire evening. Despite the bustling crowd, we were greeted with a genuine smile and quickly accommodated. The server, with a friendly efficiency, took our names and offered us the choice to wait comfortably by the bar or the glass window as they prepared our table. This small gesture of consideration immediately made us feel valued. Once seated, we were given menus and the daily special was expertly described. While our initial round of soft drinks lacked a bit of fizz, the staff's response was nothing short of brilliant. Without a moment's hesitation, they offered to replace them, giving us the option to either get fresh ones or try something new. This level of attentiveness is a true testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. Then came the main course. The food arrived piping hot, and the portion sizes were incredibly generous. Every single bite was a delight, cooked to absolute perfection. It was a proper hearty meal, and although we were completely stuffed, we simply couldn't leave a single morsel behind. The entire experience, from start to finish, was exceptional. Manager Joanne and her team deserve all the praise in the world. They were professional yet genuinely friendly, creating a wonderfully welcoming atmosphere. When you combine that with the extremely reasonable prices, you have a truly unbeatable dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Brogan's to anyone looking for a delicious, hearty meal served with excellent customer service. It's the kind of place that leaves you looking forward to...

Here are some helpful things to know, and some suggestions:

the "sharing board" on the appetizer is worth every penny! The ribs and wings are very well done, and you get a lot for the money!

I am a Guinness man, but DO order the "espresso martini" for the lady and steal a sip... you will be impressed while maintaining your manhood!

If you want to be able to enjoy the local musicians playing traditional Irish folk music every night, here is a tip: do go early, about 6:30pm, and find a seat in the first 2 sections up front (before the bar area)... order dinner, eat casually, then order drinks and keep sipping until the musicians show up. Otherwise, if you come later, it is likely you won't get anywhere close enough to enjoy them. It is worth coming early! Any table you see "reserved" on, is the tables set aside for the musicians ;-)

The atmosphere is warm, and outstanding. The bathrooms are top notch. The place is massive. The staff are super friendly and on the ball.

The food is great and in good size portions and reasonably priced! Do try the Irish Stew! Heck, everything I ever ordered was great!

If you do go, ask for the owner "Derek" and tell him Jacob from Texas sent you ;-) He will treat you good! I hung out with him several times, in multiple cities. A fast talking Irish man you have to pay close attention to in order to understand, but a great and...

I’ve been to Brogon’s previously, however, tonight was the worst service I’ve experienced in my entire life. The waiters and bar staff were rude, short tempered and extremely unprofessional. To start off the night I ordered a bottle of Prosecco with wine glasses, ice and strawberries, I was then given a look of disgust. After this the service continued to deteriorate, separate waiters walked away without letting us finish speaking. When we asked for dishes to be cleared the waiter took one plate and never came back. Everything seemed to be an inconvenience. One waiter was the rudest waiter I’ve ever met, he made no eye contact, when ordering food he sternly said “there’s NO FILLET LEFT”, when I said I would need a few more minutes he walked away in a huff and returned ten minutes later and stood staring at me, waiting for me to speak! When food was served, again we were stared at with no communication. We realised he wanted us to move the glasses on the table. After dinner we ordered cocktails, two pornstar matinis. After they were delivered we were told there was no passion fruit and they were made with mango. The cocktails were so bad we returned them as they did not taste right. To top off this very sad evening it was my mothers birthday and she did not have an enjoyable night. We paid. We left. But, I’m sad to say the celebration...

Very good experience at this restaurant! First of all - the place looks amazing for my taste! The menu is diverse and with good prices. The food is definitely worth the price especially when you get the food and see the great size portions! I came here with my mother and father and we ordered BBQ ribs, a dish with chicken and black pudding filling; and salmon with grilled asparagus and poached eggs. Overall - amazing food and would definitely recommend for a dinner to anyone who is visiting the place. Thanks to @Jacob in the previous comment - I also ordered espresso martini for my mother and it was perfect 👌😉

Great experience overall. Food: Mussels were ok, but the brown bread that came with surpringly was phenomenal and Sublime when dipped in butter wine mussel sauce. Fish and chips were much better than many other places. Baked hake was great. Service: Some misters in transferring from bar to table combined with not a very attentive service knock it down a bit. Could have been better, but they were busy. Atmosphere: Lively and lovely upscalish pub. Fun and happening on a nice and festive town street.
