Staff unfriendly and intimidating. When I arrived, three staff were talking behind the bar and it wasn't in English or Irish. Bit annoying that. Then when I asked for the food menu the bar men said "Yes" but proceeded to open his tip envelope in front of me, counted the cash and then started writing something on the envelope. I thought it was very unprofessional. When I ordered, I could not hear what the waitress said to me, and she got a bit snotty with me. Maybe I need to learn her language???!
I had the chicken wings which to be fair were delicious but my 6oz burger was very disappointing, very dense, and it didn't seem homemade. Both dishes were served with coleslaw which was suspiciously warm and so I didn't eat it - just in case. Fries with the burger were lukewarm and the onion rings I ordered as a side never arrived.
I paid quickly and ran. Normally, a tipper - I didn't this time. There are friendlier places to eat...

13 of us had dinner there lastnight. We had starters, main , dessert for only €35 each.
Our waiter Damien was exceptional, putting smiles on our faces all night long. We even got a complimentary glass of bubbles - we may have cheekily requested it. Damien you are an asset to the hotel, all the staff were so helpful.
The food was very tasty. Very generous portions, probably too big as it was hard to finish everything.
We will be back for sure. Thank you for making our night such a success...
