Really lovely experience in the Galleon for evening dinner the other night. We booked a table just to be sure, and while there were other diners it wasn’t super-busy. Our waitress was lovely, kind, professional, and our drinks and food were brilliant. We have neurodiversity, so ‘normal’ noise levels can often make for difficult dining experiences. The Galleon has ‘normal’ music levels but for 3 of our 4 people party, we asked if they might bring it down a little, and I cannot praise the waitress enough and her graciousness in accommodating our needs - she immediately brought the music down the point or two that made such a difference to us, and was just so understanding of our kids and myself. This place is a must for food when wandering in beautiful streets of lovely town -Westport. We are vegetarians and it’s very hard to find our taste but we felt so fortunate that not only we found great veg options but very delicious and the amazing veg pizza was a full treat for me, my wife and my son. I recently visited this restaurant and had a great experience. The prices were quite reasonable, and the food was delicious.
