Amber Grill takeaway — Restaurant in Dublin

We have been ordering from here very frequently for the last year and overall we have had positive experiences. However last night changed that big time. We ordered two vegan burgers with toppings and chips. Took almost an hour for our delivery and we were given two beef burgers without toppings - so it was clear we were given the wrong order. Mistakes can happen, so we rang to get our correct order sent to us and we were just hung up on and then couldn't get through on the phone again. We weren't angry or anything on the phone. The guy just said he'd call us back and hung up. We never got a call so we drove down to them with our food.

When we got in the guy was very rude and tried to tell us we got the right food and that it wasn't beef - we order almost every week so we know what Beyond burgers look and taste like. These were clearly beef. He agreed to remake them for us but he was very rude and offered no apology whatsoever. It's completely unacceptable to treat customers this way, especially regulars. Needless to say we won't be ordering from here for a good...

Tried here for the 1st time and unfortunately it was a very average experience. I ordered the Black Angus burger, taco fries, sweet & chilli pizza, and a nuggets surprise meal. The burger was okay, but the bottom bun was slightly stale. The pizza didn’t arrive with the initial order, so I had to wait another 30 minutes for it—though I’ll admit it tasted good once it finally got there.

The taco fries seemed like they had been sitting around for a while and just reheated—there was a puddle of “juice” at the bottom that spilled all over my plate. As for the nuggets for my daughter, they were overcooked and barely edible.

Overall, not a place...

Normally don’t leave reviews for takeaways. The food is fine, it’s tasty and does the job. However I am disappointed with them. Twice I’ve ordered through just eat and both times the order has been incomplete as they forget the drink. It’s annoying when you pay for an order and you don’t get what you paid for. The second order I made, the delivery guy pretty much ran away and got into his car before I got a chance to ask him where my drink is.
