We came around 11am on Sunday and was looking to get home-cooked brunch. The restaurant is small but tidy and well lit. They got outdoor sitting which is nice during fine weather. Parking is along the road. The food are as simple as you expect them from a family run business, tasty and fresh, and reasonably priced. They got vegan options as well. Service were polite and efficient, even during busy times. Will come back for sure.

Stopped by Brams cafe and grabbed a club sandwich with a side of chips—because sometimes your taste buds deserve a standing ovation. The sandwich was stacked higher than my weekend laundry pile, and every bite was a delicious reminder that carbs are my soulmate. The chips? Crispy little golden miracles. Service was so fast I barely had time to consider dessert (don’t worry, there’s always next time).

First visit today for around 2 years, (covid etc, cafe has been closed) previously I found brams did an excellent breakfast, using organic products and top end meats. i didn’t mind the ‘expensive cost’ for a good breakfast hence me returning with a mate, I visited today and it was a below par breakfast, the high end organic produce seemed to have disappeared. Bacon was under par, and the butter was now trailed on by the chef rather then the previous butter sachets I had on previous visits. The chips were good but a tiny portion, I thought it was actually a joke? I won’t return again. 25e for 2 below par breakfasts is not value, I’d have rather the 5e breakfast roll in centra, Very disappointed as I’d been telling my friend of brand for a while and how good it was. Times change clearly. If you fancy an expensive rubbish breakfast, this...

Terrible service, our coffees weren't great but so far so good. I went to pay and they charged me twice, I asked for a refund and the staff didn't even look at me, didn't pay any attention to me, the supervisor wasn't there either, I felt completely ignored, the staff also didn't speak very good English which made communication difficult, from the beginning we didn't feel welcome there. The food was ok but I made it very clear to the staff that I didn't think they had experience in resolving issues. I told them I work as a manager in a cafe and that what was happening was not the right thing to do... I expected support at that point. It wasn't until after we left the cafe that the supervisor called us to try to resolve the situation in a more professional manner. I will never...

Went in for dinner, I had honey roast ham, veg and mash. There were 6 skinny baton carrots, 10 shreds of cabbage and 1 slice of the thinnest honey roast ham that was 40% fat. I was finished when my husbands dinner came out with the same paltry amount of veg but he had 2 lovely pieces of salmon that were cooked well. The mash was also nice but both dinners were cold. This place has gone down this last year. I have been in for breakfast a couple of times also and the half cooked snotty eggs put me off when I asked for it to be cooked more they brought out a burnt flat egg with the yolk practically gone. I...
