Went there this morning and sadly the staff are miserable, not a single smile the entire time we were in there. No customer service skills. Very disappointed in the coffee, was sour which probably means they’re grinding the coffee wrong and it’s being over extracted. €4.40 for a poorly made coffee can just break your heart this day and age 😂 Halloumi sandwich was just as disappointing as the rest of the experience, they buy the sandwiches in but it’s just bread with pesto, half a single semi sun dried tomato and the most measly slices of halloumi.

Decent coffee, not the best not the worst. We were waiting 15 minutes for our coffee (sit in) and when we asked we were told we were meant to collect it - wasn’t made very clear. Not a huge cafe so I think sit in should be table service, would only take 20 seconds

The coffee ( I had tried the latte, flat white, iced coffee, all with oat milk) is really nice. The foam is creamy every time. You can ask for a less acid alternative of coffee, and it's tasty. For vegan milk, you have an extra fee of 50 cents.

I went to ebb & flow clontarf today and the staff member was extremely rude. She informed me that they were closing shortly so it wud have to be takeaway I said that was no problem. She was very rude with no people skills from the minute I walked in. Made me feel like I was putting her out hugely. When my toastie was ready it was falling apart and she gave it to me uncut. I asked if she cud please cut it in half as I was sharing it and she pretty much rolled her eyes and huffed at this then rudely gave it to me. I have never experienced such an unwarm and unwelcome staff member in my life. Will not...

This review is only reviewing the confectionery that is for sale at this cafe. It is not reviewing the staff, atmosphere or comfort. Everything in the glass counter display is not fresh- it comes from a supplier that freezes the foods to last longer. It may be delivered daily but it is never fresh ! Scones are hard and stogy - not fluffy and fresh like their close competitors. Banana bread , croissants and almond cakes are not fresh and definitely have been frozen. Can the Management not source fresh food & confectionery on a daily basis if they cannot produce it themselves. Very very...
