Although they’ve just opened, there’s always good amount of people coming in and out whenever I’ve been by. And no wonder - the treats, freshly baked and often with unusual flavour combinations, are excellent. The more popular bakes are often sold out a few hours after opening, so I prefer going in for brunch or lunch. I recently had the apple pie which was both flaky and had a generous amount of crumble AND meringue. Would absolutely recommend if you see it, though they seem to change up the menu quite often based on available ingredients. In other words, great if you are the type of person who enjoy trying out new things. Their donuts are also fantastic, though only available on certain days (Fri-weekends?). They’ll usually post about it on their social media. I’ve tried donuts from other bakeries and the dough they use at Flower & Bean’s are lighter and more tasty (yes, we bought donuts from several bakeries just to compare!). The staff is super friendly and always happy to have a chat with you. The walls are a bit bare (but then again they haven’t been open for long) and the coffee feels a bit better value than the tea, but those the only thing I can think of to mention. It won’t stop me from recommending the place to friends, and hopefully it won’t be long before I can go back.

Lovely home-made healthy food and very family-friendly atmosphere. Love the concept of their monthly menu according to the seasonal products available. Their brunch is delicious and fairly priced. Their home-made granola was very nice to the point that we got some for home. The café applies some nice sustainability principles. The oat lattes were too weak and oaty for our taste. The only reason why we gave them 4 stars is for a general lack of communication from the staff. We asked if it was possible to change the Irish dairy yoghurt for vegan yoghurt and on top of the confusion that it caused, they charged us 1 extra euro but did not say anything about this additional charge and we only saw it when we paid. We would recommend improving this aspect and being more open with the customer about that before they pay. Also, the pastries they have look lovely but it would be more hygienic to have them covered as they are on the counter at the level of the customers. Overall, we would recommend it for families with kids and we appreciate their sustainable and seasonal menu.

With the abundance of the coffee places around Dublin I will still choose this lovely place for my coffee and treats whenever possible. First of all, the coffee itself is d e l i c i o u s. Baristas are professionals with both hands and hearts of gold, ready to make your coffee and day as cheerful as possible. Secondly, the food. Should I say that every visit is 50% choosing and 50% everything else? The treats, both savory and sweet, are amazing and change regularly based on the seasonal fruits and veggies, which creates a unique experience with every visit. And last, but not the least — the interior is great, full of space and cheerful decor, with a kid’s corner for playing while adults enjoy coffee. Even the prices are relatively low, especially comparing to other coffee places of the similar quality. My personal recommendation: batch brew (bring your cup!) and a delicious Friday doughnut or an oat milk flat white with a no-waste pudding. Will come again and again!
