Harry's Italian — Restaurant in Dublin

Came here for dinner, didn’t have a reservation but was seated straight away. Lovely service and lovely food. However the evening ended sour when we were told that the table we were sitting at was needed back in 15 minutes. No one told us when we first sat down that there was a time limit on the table or if the table was needed for a reservation. This was disappointing to hear considering me and my partner still had lots of our drink left and we were still making our way through our desserts. The restaurant was half empty so why they needed our table back in particular baffled me. There were many other tables to choose from. They could have offered to move us to one of these empty tables if they absolutely needed our table back. Anyway we left without a fuss but very disappointing. We went here on a Sunday evening and found the food and staff to be really good. We sat downstairs in the window and had loads of room around us.

The Chicken wings for starters were amazing, and the main food was also. We had the Lemon Chicken and the Tuscan Chicken and both where excellent. Full of flavor and the right portion size. Both came with fried potatoes.

The kids menu also had a good selection. Our son had a pizza, but it was wood fired so he was not too impressed with it. Its not a set pizza so the kids can choose their toppings.

There is a great selection of deserts, but for the tiramisu was the best.

Myself and my partner had dinner here and there was a lovely atmosphere about the place. The service was quick and friendly but my food was not great. I had the pollo al pepe and half way through I found a bone in the fillet of chicken which hit the roof of my mouth so I couldn’t finish my meal. My partner had the pollo picante and he thought it was delicious but the Arancini was bland. When we got there they didn’t have the beer we ordered from the menu and the mains that we had ordered which was the steaks they were out of those aswell.
