Izumi Japanese Sushi & Chinese — Restaurant in Dublin

7/13/25. Tiger roll & Tempura Vegetable to start. The salmon on Tiger Roll was not consistent color. It was supposed to be smoked inside and fresh salmon on top, but some pieces were a dull pink/grey color. Three Cup Chicken was well flavorful and would recommend 100%. The Spicy Hot Wok chicken came delivered on a sizzling cast iron plate, almost too hot as grease was popping all over. But taste was delicious once it cooled a bit. Maybe slightly too salty. The table next to us had the yellow curry chicken which looked amazing too. We did have to remind the server to bring out the Coke Zero. We came with a 7-month baby and staff offered a proper at-home high chair which was nice. Both servers were very friendly. Food took a while to come out. HORRIBLE customer service!!!

Traveling from Canada, we decided to stop in here (June 23 6:20 pm) as we are staying in Drumcondra and have dined here before as it was one of our favorites in the area However, that will be our last.

We were seated and then absolutely ignored. The young guy behind the counter proceeded to take 3 takeout phone orders then the last straw was when 2 gentlemen came in to order takeaway. Instead of telling them can they wait a moment so that he could take our order as we had been sitting there for quite a while with no drinks nothing he proceeds to take their order.

That was it for us, we got up and walked out. No apologies nothing

To the owner of this establishment, I think you need to have a chat with your staff as you are losing customers. Completely...

Appalling service, firstly driver went to the wrong Adress, and after I give the right address, he calls me " 4 different times" to say he is outside,each time I went out he wasn't there, I was forced to cancel my order because I'm in a respite care center, so now I'm left with no food and the restaurant won't refund me even though I am not at fault, I paid by card so now I cannot even order food from anywhere else as that's all I had left in my account until my next payment, absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional run restaurant.
