Abrakebabra — Restaurant in Dublin

The food was OK at best, the burger wasn't filling and it was a dry thin patty. I got loaded fries which were quite tasty to be honest, but I also had a chicken kebab which was the thinnest kebab I've ever eaten. Overall I spent a lot of money, and got an incredibly small portion for what I had ordered. Not only that but the order took 1 hour and 20 minutes to arrive. I live 10 minutes away in heavy traffic, so this sort of distance is not excusable for such a long time, especially when the food which was being made wasn't overly complicated or a long time to create. I rang up to ask where the food was 70 minutes after I had ordered and they said they had just sent it out, they cut me off the phone shortly after and didn't apologise. When the delivery arrived, I was handed the food, I asked why it had taken so long and I was just told "I have a lot of deliveries" no semblance of an apology for the delay, overall it was an awful experience and I won't be ordering again, you either need to hire more delivery staff or hire staff which create food quicker as this was unacceptable and a deplorable service. I usually get a takeaway Taco fries, and the girls usually fill the box, and dead right too. Well a new girl, working alongside the boss, neglected to fill half the box. I put this down to either the bosses presence or inexperience and forgave the mistake. A few days later, with my son, we decided to have some Taco fries, this time eating in the restaurant. To my absolute disgust, and served by the boss, we were given these open trays which hold about half of what the takeaway box holds. I don't like paying for something I feel to be a rip off. Also, for some reason, the drinks machine is regularly out of order, and you're given a can instead at an inflated price. Another sneaky way of making a few extra quid.
