Second time here, well worth the visit. Food is absolutely delicious, we have tried almost everything now and some of the most notable are the half chicken, the crispy potatoes (although the portion had shrunk since our first visit, and the butter that comes with the focaccia is outstanding, would love a tub of this. Cocktails are made really well, spicy marg and whiskey sours to be specific. Service was a 10/10 and nice atmosphere and decor.
EDIT 29/04/25 This was our 3rd time here. We still really enjoyed it but it wasn't our best experience. We were here for our 7th Anniversary. The food was all really good but one of my favourite things from each time I've been is the potatoes. Each time we have been, the portion drastically shrunk. The portion we received this time in comparison to our first visit was honestly laughable, shrinkflation is very real haha. You can see the portion in the back of one of the pictures, I have also added a picture of the portion on our first visit. We got the steak, chicken and chips and guac otherwise and it was all super tasty. Ordered 2 last cocktails with desert and we had finished the desert about 10 minutes after we had finished our desert. Not only that, they were way way too spicy, this was my 3rd spicy marg of this particular night and this one was undrinkable, the rest were delicious, I only every get the spicy margs in here, theyre usually very very good and balanced, this one left a really bad taste in my mouth unfortunately :( You can see all 3 different potion sized in the pictures, not sure what order...

After hearing all the buzz about this place, I was excited to finally try it out! My partner managed to snag a table for two at 9:15 pm on a Friday night. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype.
We started with high hopes, but the food was a mixed bag. The squid, which we were really looking forward to, was overcooked and mushy—a real shame because the flavor had potential. The crab tostadas, on the other hand, were delicious, and the chicken tacos were nice enough, though nothing groundbreaking.
The real letdown came with the main course. We ordered our steak medium rare, but it arrived well done. When we pointed this out to the waiter, he offered us drinks, but with my Margarita still full, that wasn’t what I wanted. We just wanted to enjoy our €34 steak cooked how we asked! The waiter seemed a bit irritated but finally agreed to take it back. Thankfully, the second attempt came out medium rare and was much better. The side of red rice was another disappointment—mushy, overcooked, and tasteless, except for an overpowering spiciness. They swapped it for potatoes, which were okay but nothing memorable.
Still hungry, we decided to check out the dessert, but there was no menu—just two options: caramel flan and a brownie. We ordered one of each, but I have a strong suspicion they were store-bought.. They tasted ok but didn’t feel homemade or special. Another big let down and not a nice sweet end to our meal..
All in all, it was an underwhelming experience with a...
Read moreOverall 5 star experience. Although have some constructive criticism. Pros: Did remind me of food i had in Mexico. It was delicious. Ordered 4 bites and 3 tacos between two and was plenty. (Two tacos per portion) The fish and chicken taco very good. Padron peppers nicest I've had. Jalapeño foccacia delicious and the pineapple cubes a lovely tangy side to have. Drinks also very nice. Spicy Margs were nice and spicy. Pistachio Mai Tai nice but small. Spicy fox also v decent. Service very good. Corn cake desert a great finish to the night. Like the music in the background. Was noisy but didn't have to raise your voice speaking across the table which is the perfect mix
Cons: It was a bit cold inside. Cocktails were quite expensive - 14/15 euro each. Never really understand this pricing in restaurants as we would have stayed on them all night if they were closer to the €10 mark. Ended up having two each which was a push. The limes are cut incredibly small so you have to cover your fingers in lime juice when you squeeze. Spicy marg was nice but for an 'authentic mexican' there should be WAY MORE margs on the menu. You want a menu full of margs only. And if you had just a classic 'house' marg cheaper than most, it...
