I'm very sorry to say that the food, service, atmosphere, and value for money for this place have all taken a nose dive.

5 years ago I gave this place a 5 star review, with the comments below. After last night's experience I am being generous to give it two stars.

First they changed the recipe of the nachos dish we were so fond of, and ignored our repeated requests to revert to the original recipe. Inexplicably they just reduced the amount of nachos, while maintaining the same amount of sauces. That's fine if you like spoonfuls of sour cream, guacamole, and salsa on each soggy nacho, but it completely ruined a fine dish.

We kept going there because the chicken wings were worth it. Last night though they also managed to destroy this dish too by smothering the wings in some kind of extra hot chilli sauce.

Service was also poor. 5 years ago our server was attentive and easily called. Last night no one seemed to be responsible for our table. In the half empty premises it was hard to get a waiter's attention, even to pay the bill. As I paid I was expecting the usual "how was your meal" question so that I could express my disappointment, but we weren't asked so I didn't bother.

Costs go up, and restaurants have to balance the books, but last night's meal was almost double what it was a few years ago, but it's hard to take when everything was so poor.

Little doubt then that the place was half empty.

It is sad to see this happening to a restaurant that so recently was a thriving, buzzy place. Here's my review from 5 years ago. I like this place and visit regularly. The food is good, the atmosphere is busy, if a little noisy but that doesn't bother me. The service is always friendly, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for a restaurant in fashionable Ranelagh. Be warned, some of the portions are huge. Between two of us we frequently share a nachos starter, and for our main course we share a starter portion of chicken wings with one side of chips. That's two starters and a single portion of chips and we struggle to eat it all. Not all the portion sizes are that generous, but if you're like me & hate wasting food, ask...

The chicken wings are great. My issue is with the Poke’ which it is not; for some reason you need to order salmon or chicken…. Poke’ is a Hawaiian dish as I grew up in Hawaii. I thought I should clarify it is literally raw Tuna, Salmon, or octopus. Not that you need to add protein after? It’s is the protein. For those don’t know Poke /poʊˈkeÉŖ/ (Hawaiian for "to slice" or "cut crosswise into pieces";3 sometimes anglicised as 'pokĆ©' to aid pronunciation5[7]) is diced raw fish served either as an appetizer or a main course and is a popular dish in Hawaii. Traditional forms are aku (skipjack tuna) and heŹ»e (octopus). HeŹ»e poke is sometimes called tako poke in places where the Hawaiian language is not spoken.[8] Poke differs from other raw fish dishes in that it does not use citrus fruits as a curing agent. For example, some Native Hawaiians add salt to preserve raw fish.[9] you really shouldn’t use a a name that actually represents the protein in the dish!!! This dish is not named correctly at Tribeca. FYI Poke does not come with chicken or smoked Salmon. It’s raw fish. Total miss interpretation of what your calling the dish. If your going to use the Hawaiian name you should make sure it’s the right dish, or call it rice with some veggies. But even the rice was incorrect as it’s white rice, not black or any other color. By the way wait staff were great; I hate to waist food, and they were...

I went here for my father in laws birthday. Service wasn't great, I understand they were busy but once our order was taken we weren't checked on again. I ordered the chicken ceaser salad but they brought me out a chicken burger, it was slapped down in front of me (I was the last of our group of 5 to get my food) and they just ran away from the table. Not once did anyone come to check on our table to see if everything was ok and how the food was. I ate the chips and tried the burger as I didn't want to make a scene but I physically couldn't eat it. The sauce was disgusting and the chicken way over cooked, the bun was horrible too. My husband ordered a burger with no sauce or salad and it came with salad, he said the juice from the tomato ruined it for him as it made it quite soggy. I ordered water to drink and got a tepid glass of unfiltered tap water, no ice, they put a slice of lemon in it which I don't like so i removed it. The jug of water for the table had a slice of orange in it so the 2 flavours mixed together was awful. First and last time here, I will never be back. Poor service and awful food, extremely disappointed. Totally...

A good place to eat if you are very hungry, the amount of portions are generous. They have a varied menu in different types of food, from pastas to a good selection of hamburgers, from what I could see around the chicken wings and burgers are the specialty of the house. However, I had pasta and my partner ordered fish with wild black rice and vegetables, which was tasty. The other good reason to go back to this restaurant is their Staff, they are really connected with what they do and make their best to make you feel comfortable and happy. I really enjoyed their vibes and kindness. Thank you guys for your service.

Really nice food! It's a little bit pricey, but the portions are big. We sat outside, which was a little cramped as it's kinda on the path, but it's still nice. Staff were very attentive, and the cocktails were class (again a little bit on the pricier side). We shared a starter of nachos (huge portion and so so tasty). I had the buttermilk chicken burger, which was cooked perfectly. My friend had the pork and beef meatballs - which she said was delish! The mojitos tasted so fresh, and very strong! Which is what you want, really. All in all, really nice.

The starter of the day was amazing, which was mussels. But the mains were quite average. We just had a pasta and burger cause nothing else stood out. And then we were told to leave after a hour and half but cause we still had our wine, we were allowed to move to another table. Didn't make any sense since there was a couple next to us that arrived before us but didn't had to move. Was quite a turnoff. Would recommend takeaway if you want basic food.
