A true gem has arrived in the culinary scene with Queen Stop, a new Chinese restaurant that truly hits the jackpot! From the moment our family stepped in, we were met with a warm and friendly greeting that set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. This welcoming atmosphere was consistently delivered throughout our meal by their wonderful, warm, friendly, and attentive service. The menu at Queens Stop is a testament to authentic Chinese cuisine, offering a diverse selection that caters to all tastes without falling into the trap of disguising European dishes as Chinese fare. Our varied meal choices began with perfectly cooked starters, from beautifully crispy calamari to succulent dumplings and tasty chicken wings. For our main courses, we enjoyed an array of dishes, including beef, chicken, pork, and fish. Without exception, all dishes were cooked to perfection, arriving at our table piping hot and incredibly fresh. And then came the desserts – a delightful finale to our meal. While the mango sago pudding was delicious, the Taro cake, served with a side of ice cream, was simply outstanding. It was a wonderfully satisfying dessert that brought smiles to everyone at the table who ordered it. As a first-time taster of Taro cake, I can confidently say it will not be my last. After a filling and satisfying meal, the Taro cake was the perfect choice: light in texture but heavy in flavor, and paired with a delicious cappuccino, it was the ideal end to a truly delightful dining experience. If you're seeking a warm and friendly welcome, attentive staff, incredibly fresh and beautifully cooked produce, and a dessert to die for, then Queens Stop is...
Read moreThe food was truly exceptional — I will certainly be returning. The cocktails were beautifully crafted: smooth, well-balanced, and a perfect complement to the meal. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. Without a doubt, one of the best Asian dining experiences I’ve had in Dublin.
And this is my second time visit Queen Stop. We ordered three main dishes: • Sichuan Pickled Cabbage Fish – Fresh, tender fish in a tangy, slightly spicy broth. Comforting and full of flavor. • Spicy Dry Pot Prawns – Juicy prawns cooked in a rich, aromatic sauce with lotus root and potato. Bold, satisfying, and full of spice. • Aubergine Pot – Soft, flavorful eggplant in a savory sauce. Warm, hearty, and delicious.
The desserts were absolutely delightful! Every bite was indulgent yet comforting — definitely worth coming back for. 🍮🍫🍌🥭

Read moreWe saw this place pop up in our neighborhood and decided to give it a try since my husband is a huge fan of Chinese cuisine, and we’re so glad we did. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, taking the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations. They even gave us a little tasting of a few items, which was such a thoughtful touch.
We ordered the snowflake-style dumplings, and the prawn ones were out of this world, so good, we immediately ordered a second portion. The chicken dumplings were delicious too. We also had the calamari with the magic sauce, which was beautifully done crisp, tender, and full of flavor. But the real showstopper was the sizzling braised beef on a hot plate, it was absolutely stunning. The beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, packed with rich flavours and it was 10 out of 10!
Everything just hit the right spot. We’ll absolutely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone...
