My girlfriend and I were visiting Ireland from Boston and decided to check out this wee Indian restaurant just up the street from our hotel. We ordered a mango lassi and a traditional spiced lemon soda for our drinks, which set the scene for our pallates. We ambitiously ordered two appetizers to start, the Prawn Tempura and Onion Bhaji. The dishes were the perfect proportion and we were able to enjoy every bite while still leaving room for the curry. The tempura was some of the best I've had, the Prawn was fried beautifully tender and the batter was extremely light and not greasy at all. Not to mention the chilli sauce it came with was outstanding! Onion Bhaji is favorite of mine so I'm a little bias, but I enjoyed how crispy it was with a soft voluptuous core, packed with flavor and paired with an extremely fresh mint sauce on the side.
For curry, we went pretty standard with a butter lamb and chicken Tikka. Both were a spectacular display of traditional Indian spice with a backing of creamy coconut to balance them out perfectly. Don't get me started on the meats also, that lamb MELTED in my mouth it was so tender, coming from Greek descent, I eat A LOT of lamb, well done! I almost want to go back tomorrow and try their Tandoori. Paired with Basmati rice and some light and fluffy naan, this meal was a home run.
If I could give more stars I would, everything was great: from the service, to the murals painted on the walls, even the music! This spot is definitely worth checking out if you are looking for comforting Indian cuisine to get you through a wet...

I had the pleasure of dining at Spice India in Dublin, and it was an absolute treat! The star of the evening was without a doubt the butter chicken – rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced. The chicken was tender and the sauce had just the right balance of sweetness and heat. It's the kind of dish that keeps you going back for just one more bite.
We also tried the chicken tikka, and it was equally impressive. Juicy, smoky, and full of bold flavor, it came sizzling hot and was beautifully marinated. You could really taste the care put into the preparation.
The ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Spice India is now firmly on my list of go-to Indian restaurants in Dublin. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine with standout dishes like butter chicken and...
