Café Du Parc — Restaurant in Killarney Municipal District

Atmosphere: Very nice upscale restaurant as it’s part of a hotel. Decor is very nice and cozy.

Staff: Very friendly and attentive. They came by several times to check on us.

Honey Glazed Ham Eggs Benedict: Taste was great. This is the first shredded ham I’ve ever eaten on an eggs Benedict. It tasted very good. Only complaint is the paper they serve the food on. When using your knife on the food it cuts up the paper underneath and small pieces get into your food.

Minute Steak: The steak itself was cooked properly. Minute steak do have a bit more fat on the end. Over medium eggs came over-hard. It came with a full bowl of home fries. The side order was almost too large. They also didn’t have any flavor. If we ordered again, we would ask to substitute the home fries with toast.

Side Toast: Neither breakfast came with a side of toast so we ordered. The toast was perfect.

Decaf Americano: Not very good,...

Maybe we made poor choices but we found the food very poor. Had avo and eggs but was charged same price as avo eggs and bacon but without the bacon and no other substitutes. Dish was disappointing rayu was over 80 percent oil and unpleasant. Bread was one slice of ordinary bread not which sadly was soggy. Eggs were fri2d not poached which is the usual way to cook them for such a dish. Didn't justify a price of 12.50 for effectively 2 eggs and a slice of toast with a scraping of avocado. Soup was TERRIBLE and tasted of salt with no vegetables discernable. I did relay all this information to the floor manager but.... All in all I would I wouldn't return. Very very poor vegetarian options unless you want all day breakfast. The only other option being one salad. Serving staff...

Beautiful restaurant, great location but unfortunately from the second we entered an empty restaurant we felt rushed, they sat us and told us they would leave the reservation sign on the table be up as soon as we finished they would be expecting another reservation coming in. Odd - one would think to simply reseat us to a better location so we could eat without feeling in a hurry…as we were eatingo the server was cleaning our dishes & dropped off the bill while I was finishing my sides and even as I was getting up from the table the floor manager (I would assume) was proceeding to wipe off the table.

This could have been a fault from the host but we had planned to have our lunch then get dessert and a drink and simply didn’t have...
