What a dampener to the first night of our Irish road trip. Live band playing folk music, we thought it was great craic until anti UK chants were sung throughout the entire bar. I'm Irish but felt utterly ashamed that my English partner was subjected to this on his first night of the trip. When we didn't participate in these chants, despite nudges from the other punters which then turned into very direct questions asking if we didn't like the song, we decided to leave our half drunk Guinness's in search of a more inclusive, peaceful pub. Read moreSo I went here while waiting for a table in the other restaurant/bar right beside this one. And I had my first ever cider here and it was very good... Very good bar overall although our table wasn't particularly the best. It was right next to the toilets :| But now coming to the important part: I only found this bar on Google again trying to find out the name of the restaurant next to it where we went to eat afterwards. That's because at that very restaurant I saw such a gorgeous staff woman and I'm trying to find out her name 😮 Sadly this restaurant is not on Google maps and so I shall never find...
Read moreI'm sure the music is great..but we called in for an Irish coffee..worst one ever.! .not drinkable ,30.00 euros for 4 Irish coffees..the landlord unhelpful..tried to ignore me when we said we could not drink them.eventually reluctantly gave us 10 euros back .could not be bothered to stand and argue any longer .bad attitude and customer service.
