My fiancée and I were heading to the INEC for a show and stopped here for dinner beforehand, it was definitely a restaurant I wanted to try out in killarney as I've heard nothing but good things about this place and I must say now I know first hand why! We were welcomed at the door by a lovely girl who asked us had we a booking ( We did not ) said that's no problem table for two and took us to a table, our drinks were brought to the table straight away with the menu's, very relaxed setting no rushing knew when we were ready to order, we both went for the soup of the day which was lovely Tomato soup & a small fresh roll, for the main my fiancée went for the Chicken Maryland which was served with chips, garlic butter, bacon, batterd banana & pineapple and also a side salad which had the nicest dressing I think we've ever tasted! I went for the breast of chicken supreme served with mashed potatoes fresh veg & gravey absolutely gorgeous! We didn't have time for dessert as we needed to get to the show, even though we were so full from the starter and main I think it might have being a struggle lol we will try it out next time for sure! Staff very nice & professional, food portions generous & price very reasonable! I would recommend this place too all , definitely worth a stop if you're in killarney. I'm looking forward to going...

First of all the service was atrocious, the lady taking our order appeared unfriendly and she looked like she did not want to be there at all. After ordering the food it took about 40 minutes to arrive at our table, which I couldn't understand as the place wasn't very busy. My wife ordered a medium rare stake and it was far from medium rare, it was well done, and it was chewy and fatty and very hard to eat. We also ordered the children's chicken curry for our son, I asked the lady taking our order if the curry was mild, she said it was very mild, but it wasn't at all, my son couldn't even eat it because it was so hot. We explained these issues to another female member of staff, and she didn't even apologise or offer us a replacement dish, she just said "oh ok", and quickly rushed off. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but I just had to for this place. Bad service, unfriendly and unhelpful staff, and mediocre food. I wouldn't...

Solid 4 stars (rating it comparatively to similar class restaurants). We all liked what we each ordered. Tasty and served hot temperature. Chowder was tasty but amount of ingredients in the chowder was about same in the large as in small (we ordered both sizes), just more broth in the large. To me, it was not worth the price upsizing to the large chowder. Beef burger was quite good. Seafood pasta and the fried chorizo salad were very delicious. Don’t order ginger ale in bottle, this is 2nd restaurant in Ireland the bottle ginger is like 4 ounces but same price or higher than regular size coke, and the ginger ale taste is very subtle. Nice menu choices at fair prices. Seating is very cozy and the staff don’t rush you to close out the tab, you can feel relaxed and take time to enjoy with friends. Restaurant is inside Dromhall hotel with...

Came for the fish and chips and a dessert sampler. The fish was perfect. Chips were bland, but maybe that's how they do them here? A bit of salt and vinegar fixed the flavor issue. Nothing to be done about the texture. My family and I shared the dessert sampler, and three of the four desserts were incredible. We weren't fans of the tiramisu pudding or custard or whatever that was. The dark chocolate brownie was my favorite. Service started out great, but then we found ourselves flagging down the server for water, the check, and to pay the check. (Seriously, the card was on the table. We didn't need 15 minutes to pay.) Overall, though, four stars.
