Food - Milano is one of our favorite pizza joints. Not only have we been to the Killarney location, but we also have visited Dublin locations. The food draws us back each time. We ordered the 3 courses for $30 along with trying out the Parmentier Potatoes. Started with the Dough Balls Al Forno, which was a nice start. We shared the La Reine, which was a great combination. Finally, we split the Biscoff Billionaire Sunday, which was prepared fresh. Not overly sweet, just right.

Restaurant - The decor and soft lighting really make this place seem inviting and modern. Seeing the exposed kitchen is a nice touch I feel. Restrooms are plentiful and clean. The tables and floor were clean, there was no garbage on the floor, and tables didn't have residue. The only downside to this visit was another guest, maybe someone who knew one of the staff. Kids were running amuck, clanging silverware on plates, and the adult male was not helping helping at all. The staff seemed to take care of the kids more than he did, stepping out for a smoke and a drink. Kids were following staff around. Restaurant was quiet and peaceful until then.

Service - Top notch here. Our waitress was chatty with our group, very professional and polite. She was attentive and regularly checked on us. She was a fantastic host / waitress. She even stepped in and helped with the kids to try and calm them down a bit while the adult male was ... useless. Many kudos to her as she was running her tail off.

Overall - This one rough visit does not overshadow the 4 other visits we have had to Milano over the last couple years. We plan on visiting again, and hopefully will take advantage of the 3 for $30 again. Great deal,...

I was very disappointed with my experience here. Someone in my party did not receive her food when the rest of us did. We waited 10 minutes before finally asking a waitress where it was, only to find out it was never put in the system. We were told it would take less than 10 min for it to come out now, however, it ended up taking almost 25 min. At this point, the rest of the party was completely finsihed eating. We were later told that they noticed one of our party didn’t have her food but they didn’t question it. In the end, we asked for the dish to be removed from our bill or compensated in at least some way. We were told to download the Unidays app in order to get a student discount instead. I find two things incredibly disappointing with this suggestion: 1) I was asking for compensation because of a bad experience at the restaurant, NOT because we were students. 2) The student discount should be offered to us to begin with, staff should not be waiting to suggest it until someone is asking to be compensated. In this case, we should have been given compensation on top of the student discount.

Not to mention, throughout this entire ordeal it was incredibly hard to get the attention of the wait staff, it almost felt like they were ignoring us. When we did get their attention, they would say “I’ll be right back” and then return 5+...

Went t Milano Killarney last Sunday with my partner. Was hungry and said we would give it a try,

Starters: 2 x garlic bread. very small on piece of bread each. plenty cheese on the toasted bread but little or no garlic???

Main Course: 1 x Bolognese; was very average Portion size and very average taste. Priced at 15e approx......way too expensive for what we got.

1 X Lasagne: Served in a big white plate with a smaller bowl in side the plate with a very small portion in that bowl. about 4 to 5 spoons and was gone :-) Priced at about 15e also...very very poor value for money we thought and definitely will not be going back there again.

15 mins later driving home we went to a different restaurant for coffee and dessert and were delighted with what we received there.

The Menu in the other restaurant had Lasagne and Bolognese on their menu at 13e and from what we saw of meals being served, the portions were fine and big.

Going in to a restaurant hungry and leaving it hungry and feeling ripped off is not a good thing.

I see where people have given this place 5 stars??

Definitely our experience there was not good and we will definitely not be going back there.

Too expensive and portions are...

They have their menu online. After scanning the QR code I had to share my location with the website, then I had accept all the cookies (and many other things with one click), then I had to give my name, email and phone number. Just to see the menu! After all, it didn't work. The waiter was nice and we tried to make that work with his details, but didn't work that way either. Then we got a tablet. The food was good, but definitely overpriced. Portions should be bigger (hence the price). I personally didn't like the dessert and I didn't take a picture of that. Staff members were nice and helpful. But the atmosphere was cold as ice.

Me and my family went there for a night out on our small staycation as there were good reviews and the food seemed very good. The reviews and photos werent a lie! The food was was delicious! I mean it was a bit pricy but not too bad. Customer service was alright, our waitress was very nice and talkative the only reason im giving 4 stars not 5 is as the food took about an hour to come to our table. We came at eight and we started eating at about ten past nine. But overall worth the wait! There were many choices with vegan meals, gluten free meals and more! Next time we come back to Kerry we'll definetly come to milano again 💕✨✌️
