Revive Cafe & Wine Bar — Restaurant in Killarney Municipal District

Not coming back here and would never recommend to anybody unless I wanted people to think I was crazy or something. Rude staff and unsanitary, place smells weird, floor is very dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time, found hair and a nail on the floor next to the table, no one is wearing hair nets while preparing food and their hair hangs above the food + almost touches food while preparing. They will scam you, we ordered two chocolate cakes and they pick up one small slice of cake and cut it in parts and charge full price the other pre-cut slices sit there. Also the chocolate cake tasted like it was sitting out for days and tasted like moldy plastic in an old house, my brother felt sick after eating it. Don't forget to mix your coffee yourself when served because they seem to not know how to mix a coffee. While we were eating, there were other customers waiting to order and the staff completely ignored them, also the staff are extremely slow when you are ordering. Definitely not coming back here ever. 17.12.2024. Ordered goujons and chips and a coffee, paid, got a table number. Staff member brought the drinks. 25 minutes later i went to the counter and asked for food order. I was told it had been sitting on counter as they could not find us. At the time there was a gentelman at one table and a couple at another table. We were sitting inside the door . Staff member said we will re heat , absolutely no word of apology. When food was eventually brought to the table i asked why did we have a table number, she replied your number is 3 the food order was 15????. Still no apology. the food is very tasty. but the service is terrible. the woman behind the cash register is simply disgusting. we ordered 2 breakfasts with poached eggs. they brought us just boiled eggs. when i went to return the food and ask for a replacement, instead of apologizing they looked at me with a very displeased look. both the cook and the same woman behind the cash register. i am shocked the service is terrible. honestly this is the first time i am writing a review for any establishment. but i can't keep quiet about this... food 10/10 points,...
