Giving five stars for the fact that Treyvaud's Restaurant is opening its doors to the public in April. One honorable man who understands that CONSTITUTIONAL LAW AND OUR INALIENABLE RIGHTS (the right to earn a living, the right of free speech, the right to assemble...) ARE FAR SUPERIOR TO ANY NON SENSIBLE guidelines, rules and regulation and even Acts and Statues, which are contract law only and which cannot infringe at any stage on the superior Law of the land, constitutional law and inalienable rights! Lawfully the state, which is nothing but a corporation = Ireland Inc. registered as such and referred to as Irish Government. This is a incompetent and corrupt entity that has put the their will unlawfully on the Irish people for far to long. They, Ireland Incorporated, have no lawful right to disregard our human rights, inalienable rights and constitutional rights. This Corporation has no real power to be wielding over the people, but the power we give them by acquiescing to their often unreasonable demands and that is why they coerce, lie, promise, confuse and instill fear so they can manipulate and rule the nation to their detriment and the corporation's gain. So well done, take back your right to earn a living before the corporation Ireland (nefarious government) tightens their noose so tightly that death is the only outcome. Stand up, breath freely and exercise your rights!...

Reader, it was toothsome! I have always wanted to eat here and finally got to tick it off the list. We were given a warm welcome and even though there was only two of us, we were guided to a table for four to give us more room. The menu is varied, and it's easy to pick more than one option as they all sound so appetising. The waiter was charming, knowledgeable, and excellent at anticipating needs once told about dietary requirements. My companion had chowder, which I was assured was delicious and very satisfying. It did look tasty and was very nicely presented. I had meatballs with pasta and they really were delicious, served in a flavoursome tomato sauce. The man himself was happily serving diners and we got to speak to him briefly. He's such an affable, friendly man with a lovely demeanour. We were definitely glad that we went. The prices are very fair (considering it is Killarney!) and there's a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. We didn't have dessert but the menu features some very tempting options. I reckon it is even better for dinner so will have to make a trip back again...

The food was good, but overall a poor experience unfortunately. We were conveniently told after we had ordered our food and drink that the card machine had been down “for a couple of days” and we would have to pay in cash. When the bill came, I asked the manager if we could pay with Venmo, Zelle, or other electronic methods to avoid transaction fee at the ATM and he explained the system has been down since the morning and the only way to pay is cash. Between the differing stories and the staff seeming short and unapologetic, it became more clear that bottom line they just wanted the cash. This is fine, just wish we could have been told when we walked in the door so we didn’t have to run to the ATM and incur transaction fee to get money. On the way out the table next to us said they also weren’t told about the “credit card machine problems” until after they had ordered. Bottom line- seemed like a scam. The street is lined with countless other great restaurants and bars so not worth the visit here...

This was, without a doubt, the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The starter, a chicken bruschetta, was absolutely delicious – perfectly seasoned and full of flavor. The main course was equally amazing: tender meat served with creamy mashed potatoes, fries, and a side of perfectly cooked mixed vegetables. Every bite was wonderful. To top it all off, dessert with a cup of coffee was simply sensational. I honestly don’t have words to describe how happy and satisfied I felt after leaving this place. The service was flawless – the two staff members who assisted me were incredibly kind and welcoming. It was truly one of the best Sundays I’ve ever had in Ireland. Highly recommended!

This place may have been good years ago, but menu needs serious refreshing and improvements. From the over boiled vegetables that dad would make, to the pre-cooked and warmed entrées, the food was not the best overall. Salmon app took little effort, I've had better seafood soup. Rare rack of lamb was well done and chewy, halibut was best, meatballs were not great, steak was ok, pasta was fair. Overall disappointing food was not of the quality expected, resembling reheated buffet fast food. Service was fair at best. Could not recommend their are to many better restaurants in town.
